Miss California USA Pageant Director Keith Lewis explained the decision to fire then-Miss California Carrie Prejean in the following statement: This was a decision based solely on contract violations including Ms. Prejeans unwillingness to make appearances on behalf of the Miss California USA organization.
But In an exclusive interview with Big Hollywood, Ms. Prejeans attorney, Charles S. LiMandri, who says that he and his client learned of the firing during a phone call from gossip site TMZ, vehemently denies those allegations.
She greeted troops, Fox and Friends, she was lined up for the Special Olympics this weekend. It is pure BS. He continued that neither the Miss California USA Pageant organization nor Miss USA owner Donald Trump had ever taken issue with the frequency of her media appearances: They never said it was a problem.
According to Mr. LiMandri, the real reason behind the firing was three-fold: His clients beliefs regarding same-sex marriage, a possible book deal with his client (a deal approved by Mr. Trump), and the fact that Ms. Prejean refused to pose for Playboy Magazine or participate in a docudrama promoting same-sex marriage.
Mr. LiMandri stated emphatically, [Ms. Prejean] is being persecuted for the [same-sex marriage] answer she gave. They wanted her out of the way so that she couldnt be standing in opposition to their same-sex marriage agenda. And a lot of people in the gay community wanted her out. I told the Miss USA organization, she is not anti-gay, she is just pro-traditional marriage. She never wanted to be part of that fight. She got thrown into it when Perez Hilton asked her that question.

Keith Lewis is a putz
“Miss Whatever pageants” are so boring, I am sure only David Lecherman, similar freaky creeps plus the I’m-so-bored-I-have-nothing-else-to-do are the ones tuning in. (Contestants, their families, and “production staff” get a complete pass, btw.)
She might have a problem selling it cause the girl who replaced her...is pro-TM too...
They just wanted to get rid of the very public figure.
What are the odds the new girl “sees the light about same sex marriage” not long after the this is settled??
Regards
I thought that Miss USA contestants were not allowed to pose for Playboy. So how can she be fired?
Not surprising that Prejean is being persecuted by the homos. She publicly opposed what’s been at the top of their agenda. She stood up and drew the line in the sand and stated her beliefs. And that’s what’s making the queers choke the appendages.
For me, stories like this are a stark reminder that:
- real Christians have very little influence in government, business, education, entertainment or the media
- those persons who do have influence do NOT worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
- many if not all of the elite are actively working to implement an anti-Christian agenda
- we may already have reached the point of no return
Quit abusiing the sidebars!
Aha, so that did it! Can't have a decent Miss California or Miss USA anymore, right?
I hope God blesses her with a victory in this. Even if one doesn’t like her or (fairly) criticizes her for appearing in a beauty pageant to begin with, it’s a very bad sign for our culture when our ability to have and keep our jobs is threatened simply for believing in biblical marriage as Christ defined it in Matthew 19:4-6.
The pro-homosexual pressure from employers isn’t limited to Hollywood. I live in a state where (thankfully) we voted some years back to define marriage as between a man and a woman. One of my bosses was a stereotypical homosexual drama queen who really tried to bully and emotionally blackmail the employees to vote against biblical marriage. It really angered me as we were his employees who were there for a paycheck and he was trying to use his power to bully and get his way on this in a fight his side started. I had another job where one of the managers was a lesbian whose “girlfriend” was having a turkey baster child and they put all sorts of pressure on us to attend a baby shower honoring the “two mothers”. I’m more than happy to “live and let live” and leave these folks alone when it comes to their personal lives. Sadly, they won’t return the favor and leave the rest of us alone. I suppose this is to be expected as we live in Romans 1:24-32.
So she (replacement) is at the plate for the same...we shall see, n’est pas?
And I'm saddened to say that includes her Pastor, Miles McPheerson, whom I adore. Everytime I'm in San Diego I go to his church, but he's been acting like her manager, and it's been unseemly.

Aha, so that did it! Can’t have a decent Miss California or Miss USA anymore, right?”
Times have changed(and not for the better). It was only 25 years ago that Vanessa Williams lost her Miss America crown over posing in Penthouse.
What have they done for her except trash her? They released the information that she had breast implants. I would sue them over that alone. That is in violation of HIPPA!
Keith Lewis is a jerk and a liar. He said that she missed 52 appearances since the news conference. That was less than a month ago.
******
"The hardest thing about firing her was that I believe it was exactly what they wanted. This script wouldn't even sell in Hollywood it's so unbelievable. And since I have nothing to gain from firing her, and she has everything to gain to say it's her beliefs that got her fired that's why we're hearing this story," said Lewis.
Lewis agreed that Prejean didn't 'miss' any appearances but says she didn't agree to any.
Prejean, who also appeared on Geraldo at Large, stood by her belief she was stripped of her title due to her political views.
"They are not going to tell the truth on a lot of things. I've heard I've missed 52 missed appearances. Since the press coverage was only a month ago, that would be two a day," said Prejean.
She also alleges Lewis asked her to give him a "response in writing" over taking a Playboy partial nudity photo shoot, a request that "absolutely shocked" her.
Prejean also said Lewis would not allow her to do things she wanted, such as the Special Olympics, forcing her to call Trump daily.
"Donald Trump was tired of being in the middle," said Prejean.

Keith Lewis, who runs the Miss California competition, tells FOXNews.com that he was “saddened” by Prejean’s statement.
“As co-director of the Miss California USA, I am personally saddened and hurt that Miss California believes marriage rights belong only to a man and a woman,” said Lewis in a statement. “I believe all religions should be able to ordain what unions they see fit. I do not believe our government should be able to discriminate against anyone and religious beliefs have no politics in the Miss California family.”
Miss California’s answer sparked a shouting match in the lobby after the show. “It’s ugly,” said Scott Ihrig, a gay man, who attended the pageant with his partner. “I think it’s ridiculous that she got first runner-up. That is not the value of 95 percent of the people in this audience. Look around this audience and tell me how many gay men there are.”
They gave her an opportunity for a career beyond her wildest imagination..they made her a household name. Again..who actually won the title?

Miss California Carrie Prejean can’t seem to keep herself out of hot water or follow pageant rules. On Thursday, it was announced that the beauty queen would be a one-time host talk show Fox and Friends- a decision not cleared by the Miss California USA pageant.
“We did not know about Carrie hosting Fox and Friends on May 27,” pageant director Keith Lewis told RadarOnline.com. “She did not ask us if she could host the show and once again Carrie is not in compliance with her Miss CA USA contract and obligations.” Prejean is supposed to clear her appearances with the organization per her contract.
As RadarOnline.com was the first to report, Prejean also skipped a scheduled appearance on Larry King Live on Thursday night.

Like I said, Keith Lewis is a liar and a jerk! Her attorney said he cleared the appearance on Fox & Friends with the pageant.
Notice they wanted her on Larry King instead of Fox.
Of course, she had nothing to do with it. /s
They might have given her the opportunity but after her answer they also gave her nothing but HELL!
They'll be a real thrill when they're all about the homo lifestyle. I'm surprised they still have real females as contestents.
Did the pageant have any problems with her representing California BEFORE her answer to the GAY question?! Did they accuse her of missing any appearances? It seems everything change after her answer. According to Keith Lewis she must have become a monster AFTER her answer. That doesn’t make any sense to me.
Poor woman. She was “Romney”’d because she did not
push “Romney-marriage”.
‘Miss Californias answer sparked a shouting match in the lobby after the show. Its ugly, said Scott Ihrig, a gay man, who attended the pageant with his partner. I think its ridiculous that she got first runner-up. That is not the value of 95 percent of the people in this audience. Look around this audience and tell me how many gay men there are.’
That makes no sense to me. Wouldn’t these guys be happier attending a “Mr. USA” contest?

Memorial Exhibition Recognizes Iraqi Civilian Deaths
May 11, 2006
Philadelphia The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) unveils a new addition to its Eyes Wide Open: The Human Cost of War exhibition as a memorial to Iraqi civilians.
This special tribute, designed to commemorate the estimated 100,000 Iraqi civilians who have died in the war, reminds us of the story not often told the day-to-day effects of violent conflict on the men, women and children of Iraq.
Through words and text visitors are challenged to imagine what life would be like if this war were happening on U.S. shores, explains lead memorial designer Scott Ihrig, of Ihrig Productions, a New-York based design group with more than forty years working in nonprofit, and corporate production. By focusing on Iraqis as individuals, the memorial fosters a connection between the U.S. public and the Iraqi people people with lives very much like our own.
The American Friends Service Committee commissioned Ihrig Productions to create this new addition to its widely acclaimed exhibition that recognizes the casualties of war. Creation of the Iraqi memorial was spearheaded with critical support from families of those who perished in the September 11 tragedies.

Lawsuit pending I would think. Carrie is reluctant to say anything, but that it is up to lawyer and they are planning what steps to take next.
