A man accused of sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriends infant in an unincorporated area near west suburban Montgomery was ordered held on $250,000 bond this week.
Joe P. Harvey, Jr., 27, of the 0-100 block of Marnel Road in Montgomery, was charged with one count of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and one count of criminal sexual assault, according to a release from the Kendall County Sheriffs office.
Harvey is accused of sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriends baby, whose gender and age was not immediately available, on Thursday in his home, the release said.
Thursday afternoon, the childs mother took the baby to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora after noticing injuries, the release said. Hospital staff determined the baby had been sexually abused, the release said.
The Department of Children and Family Services and the sheriffs department was contacted and, after interviewing the childs mother, it was determined that Harvey had allegedly abused the child.
Harvey is being held on $250,000 bond in the Kendall County jail.

Rope.
Honey.
and..
Bullet ants.
Any bets on whether “mom” gets back together with him when he’s out of jail in 3 years?
I see a toilet bowl plunger in this guy future
The way the story was written seems to leave out pertinent information like opportunity, motive, past record, etc.
This won't be the first time a guy was railroaded by "Department of Children and Family Services" and a mother with a hard on for an ex boyfriend.
One should not have to spend 15 minutes figuring out the geographic location of an online publication. These TV and radio stations that have online stories are very stupid and unprofessional. “Anytown” where???
Would it kill them to say the city AND state?
My question is why does this disgusting stuff keep happening? Seems like too often lately we see stories like this. I would really like to know what it is that triggers this kind of behavior and if it is just as prevalent in other societies.
After looking at this character’s photo, the first word that comes to mind is “inbreeding”.
You beat me to it.
Agree and agree.
This is so poorly written. Why, for instance, would the child be at the EX-boyfriend’s home at all?
If he is the perp, hanging is too good for him.

The face of the Democrat party. "Those we don't kill, we molest."
Another sick story of a teenager raping and killing an 8 month old baby. Really, why do we put them in prison? Just do chinese style and rid of us these animals.

Hey! It’s hard for some guys to find a girl they can relate to on an equal intellectual level.
I think I saw this guy in a graveyard last Nov.
ACORN employee!

kill him immediately.
Ecstasy and meth. I'd bet money this guy was on one or the other when he committed this deplorable crime.
“Shame on him. Doesnt he know this kind of behavior is reserved for Catholic Priests?”
Aren’t you just lovely? Disgusting piece of $#!t.
Bullsh%t, knock it off!
Sorry, that was meant for post #20
I didn’t think you meant me.... :-)
(Prolly not relevant, but I practice my faith in the Protestant tradition.)
I can't believe I live in a country where the best shot at "justice" comes from hoping fellow prisoners give the monster what he deserves.
I know what the prison system will give him - a color TV, 3 squares and work-out room...
Guilty.
Too bad we don’t hang vermin like him anymore.
He deserves it.
Yes, I agree, the hiding of Catholic Priests was a shameful episode. I am sure that we both hope it is not repeated.
