Don’t even bother trying to figure them out. Their “logic” is that terrorism is caused by Dubya, global warming is caused by humans, and that the answer to oil independence is...NOT to drill off our shores and invest in freakin’ windmills.
You’re right, why bother, I’ve alienated a lot of “liberal” friends and relatives trying to convince them about energy and many other things.
