This incredible three-quarter court flip shot by Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School's Aaron Shutway needs to be seen to be believed ... and even then I'm sure angry, bitter people will cry that the ball is computer generated. To which I say, easy there Michael Bay. It sure looks legit. But have a look and decide for yourself.

I saw this earlier....AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
I hear it took him 30 trys. OTOH I doubt if I could do it in less than 50. LOL
Freakin’ AWESOME!
fake
wow
I’d doubt I could do the front hand spring on a b-ball.
Shot of a lifetime!
Yes, it’s a great shot!
Is this summer school? It seems like all those kids were left alone to socialize and clown around.
That is a soccer move on a throw in, some of the girls that do it well can easily double the distance of their throw ins. Cool shot regardless of how many times it took.
fake
I’m with you. It doesn’t seem like that kid would have the strength to do that once, much less 30 times.
bfl
I’ve seen strange shots in the NBA. I was watching a game once and a player inbounded a ball from about half court - a pass to someone near the basket and instead of a player receiving the pass, it went in the basket.
It’s always strange to see a shot stay balanced on the rim too but it happens.
The all times weirdest in my opinion was the major league game when the pitcher let loose with a blazing fast ball and nailed a bird that happened to be flying by. A huge burst of feathers ensued.
Who said it took him 30 tries? That's just a rumor someone here brought up.
That was Randy Johnson!

He traveled! ;)
If so, how long did it take to choreograph everyone in the gym to react to the bucket at the same time?
The video said it was filmed on June 9th. Maybe it was during p.e. class right before school let out for the summer. It’s okay to give the kids a day of free play at the end of the year.
As for those that say it’s a fake, feel free to go to the school and ask around. It looks pretty real to me.
I remember some Yankee player years ago throw a ball at a bird *deliberately* and kill it. I think it was Paul Winfield? The bird was on the field pecking at the grass. I’m sure he felt like a ‘big man’ afterwards.
I think that’s travelling.
Why does the ball immediately disappear once it goes through the net? This is obviously fake.
If you watch the ball in the slow mo part you can see it bouncing under the basket. It is close to the same color as the mat on the wall.
You’re right...my apologies

Ball just through net against light-colored border

(look to immediate right of the head of the kid in black shirt and white shorts)

No problem. That kid is going to be telling his great grandkids about that shot!
Thanks. That makes it clear.
