'Predatory' Bigamist With Five Husbands Facing Jail(This Is What A Woman With 5 Husbands Looks Like)

A serial bigamist once described by a judge as a "predatory female" is facing jail after admitting marrying illegally for the fourth time.

When Ashley Baker, 25, married Emily Horne in September 2007 he had no reason to suspect anything was amiss. It was only as the couple made their way to Scotland for their honeymoon that she confessed to already being married.

In fact, Mr Baker discovered he was her fifth husband. It was her fourth bigamous union in just over a decade for Horne, who was jailed for six months for bigamy five years ago.

The former glamour model, who claims to be receiving treatment for manic depression, pleaded guilty to her latest charge of bigamy in a short hearing at Minshull Street Crown Court, Manchester, on Monday.

The court was not given any details of the relationship before the case was adjourned for reports ahead of her sentencing next month.

Horne, originally from Kingswinford, West Midlands, was released on bail on condition that she does not attempt to contact Mr Baker.

The 30-year-old was jailed for six months in 2004 after her fourth husband, James Matthews, uncovered a series of other marriages and alerted police.

An investigation confirmed a web of overlapping relationships, sometimes involving close friends. She was even married twice in the same register office, although using different names.
