SPAIN..the leading # 1 team in the world, 35 game winning streak, they have shut out opponents in the series...and the soccer world already conceded that SPAIN is SUPPOSED TO WIN..YET HERRE THEY ARE SHOCKING THE FN SOCCER WORLD.

I don’t really care much about soccer. However, I do like it immensely when one of our teams kicks butt on those America hating countries in one of their own sports.
It's 2-0 USA. That's a safety. Geez!
And it’s USA soccer, they represent our country.
I don’t care if it is equestrian events (something I have no interest in), Team USA anything gets my support.
Plus I do watch soccer at times, esp World Cup.

I would say this would be a major upset, but a little perspective is in order.
Most of the Spanish players have played a grueling club season, and frankly probably aren’t very motivated for this tournament. It’s not like there was any competition in their group up to this point. They didn’t take the US very seriously and thus, came up flat. This would not happen in the World Cup.
