Editor's note: Since publication of this story, the auction item has been removed for the third time. None of the item identification numbers in this article remain valid.
An eBay seller who previously promised to deliver a certified copy of President Obama's actual birth certificate from a hospital in Mombasa, Kenya has twice had his listing removed from the popular auction website.
In a third listing, however, the seller calling himself "colmado_naranja" has explained why the birth certificate was twice yanked by eBay administration.
"The first cancellation was done in what eBay describes as being in the interests of keeping my account safe," the newest listing claims, referring to the now scrubbed item # 160344374585. "eBay was under the impression that a third party had accessed and compromised my account, that this third party put up the Barack Obama African birth certificate auction and that I had no knowledge of the said listing."
As WND reported, colmado_naranja's original listing claimed, "President Barack Hussein Obama II was born in The Coast Provincial Hospital at Mombasa in Kenya at 7:24 p.m. on August 4, 1961."

Look at this. I read the earlier thread...saw that someone had tried to find colmado_naranja on ebay but couldn’t.
Look at the MANY links to this story. :)
Someone posted it on a thread earlier today. I’ll see if I can find it...
FYI, whenever an auction is pulled by Ebay, it is GONE. No traces left whatsoever.
The media does not CARE about living witnesses over there.
......or I read wrong. (gulp) This person IS listed on ebay.
WND should be ashamed for publishing this ridiculous story.
What next? UFO sightings and proof. Bigfoot. Elvis’ illegitimate child found?
Website located by search engine for name "colmado_naranja"
I ran a few web searches for combinations of colmado and naranja. The quick impression I got was that it’s Afro-Latino, and somehow food related.
Didn’t lead to anything of substance, though.
Nigerian internet scam????
Rush Limbaugh should bid on it, win it, and make a deal with the guy that, if the BC is authenticated, half of the money goes to Barry’s half brother in his hut-sweet-hut.
That sure got put up there fast. Wasn’t there last night.
The premise of the blog is sort of silly, though. E-bay pulled it twice because it was so wacky they though somebody had hacked into his account. That happens with some frequency, apparently.
‘Proof’ of Kenyan birth twice scrubbed by eBay
Ummm..., well the reason why eBay scrubbed the selling of the Birth Certificate, is that they have been reading Free Republic... doncha know... :-)
They know there is no birth certificate and therefore, all one could be selling there is a fraud... LOL...
Ebay is a left wing moonbat site. You had better not try to sell anything that has to do with guns or that is suggestive to the ONE or your post will be pulled like PDQ.
DU thread on this subject
Oh my... I don’t have my special bio-suit to go over there... LOL...
Personally I have a lot of trouble believing the BC will be found on Ebay. If someone wanted to buy it that would be fine but I hope they don’t want to pay very much.
Since I live in Panama, what the hell is an “Afro-Latino?”
I await your explanation before I pop.
I feel like Mike Rowe when I go there.
They mentioned my name on KOS.
I feel so dirty.
I have been contacting the seller via ebay and got this message:
Hi, the auction is up again (for a 3rd time). eBay items # 160345002984. Barack Hussein Obama Kenya Birth Certificate.
Dont know when that was sent I have been busy
I cannot make this # work yet
maybe its down again..I sent him/her another note
You said — If someone wanted to buy it that would be fine but I hope they dont want to pay very much.
I think it would be a marvelous thing to keep in the family and pass down as an inheritance. Some day, the family could grant it to the National Archives ... “the birth certificate no one ever found has been donated by the Adams family for the National Archives”... LOL...
OMG! So they watch things over here... hoo-boy!
Apparently, Ebay has a rule against selling birth certificates. When did they put that rule in place.
Now the auction is for the True Story and you just happened to get the birth certificate.
Well, I hate to say it, but WorldNetDaily did report the other day that the Ark of the Covenant was going to be revealed, yesterday, on Friday.... LOL...
Hey..., and I like WorldNetDaily, so I don’t got anything against them... :-)
DU and KOS are strange.
The discussions have no educational value as they often do here.
F bombs everywhere.
I rarely look because it’s so nasty.
They really hate us though.
It might have something to do with our being able to post coherently without being obscene.
I think that they also have a rule against selling bogus crap, too.
Like many or most Cubans, Puerto Ricans and Brazilians. Spanish speaking, mixed race, black and native Indio. Mestizo.
I have no idea. I thought the article and subject were interesting.
I’ll send him/her your post
You asked — Why is he selling it for peanuts at auction? When eBay gets a big chunk of the proceeds?
Ummm..., let’s see if anyone here is smart enough to have the answer for that question.... :-)
Who at Ebay is in obozo’s pocket?
Well, if the guy genuinely believes it to be authentic, the notoriety achieved by putting it on eBay would be priceless. I’d assume he expected it to be pulled.
If it’s a scam, he has multiple copies and was going to sell a whole batch of ‘em, lol.
**Personalize to destroy
**Mock and ridicule Obama
**Have fun and a good laugh doing it! :-)
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN AFRO-LATINO IN PANAMA OR ANYWHERE ELSE SOUTH OF THE BOARDER.
You and your PC folks have a serious mental problem.
Actually, the humor is “priceless” LOL...
President Obama’s birth certificate sold to highest bidder on eBay...
[ buyer... “Obama” doncha know... :-) ...]
Tell him/her I want a cut for pointing him/her to all the moolah.
Though I want to think positive about this, let us not forget that Africa is the source of a great many scams.
Nigeria, Somalia and even Kenya do not care, too much, if their natives pull scams on Americans.
I leave open the idea that it might be fake.
However, you have no way of knowing that, do you?
I sent it on ...will post the reply if I get one
If it was real, Mossad should bid on it
Unless they altready have it.
If it is a person messing with Obama’s head, or the heads of his supporters, I think it is funny.
Kind of like a black-mailer getting the victim to pay for photos when you still have the negative!
