Thank you jaycee! It helps to have the prayers from everyone going out for my Auntie. What more can I do but pray for her. We are 1000 miles apart. I call her a lot and check on her. Last call, yesterday, she was not good at all and had a bad time since my previous call. She had stayed with her boys so she was not alone. I wish the MRI results would be faster than July 10th. Thanks again, TheConservativeParty

Thank you yorkie! Auntie is quite the Bible student, for many decades already. You should see her Bible, full of notes, under lining, all the signs of a well read Bible. She has always had allergies, but living in Colorado it is usually dry enough to make them not bother her. A little thing like pollen allergy, has seemed to do something very bad to her inner ear and has even swollen her throat at times, and made her neck and part of her back hurt. Her primary doc seems unable to figure anything out. The ENT might be able to help. If that doesn’t do it, she has a doctor her son knows, who she will try next. Perhaps a different doctor will be able to figure this ailment out. It is really scaring my aunt, who is one tough cookie. She can’t even walk her dog or drive since she is dizzy. Thanks for the prayers! TheConservativeParty

I hate you had to go all over town looking for it - you'd think that Ofc Depot would have it before Walmart, but who knows! Walmart does have something of almost everything, I guess. Anyway, I'm glad your connection is back up and running, but you're probably gone by now to take Marissa to swim lessons.

Next week...........slows down a little for a while anyway, right? :)

This is so pretty. I know it was probably posted at the ‘old’ Amy’s Place, but I don’t remember it, so everything old is new again. :)

I join those in prayer for your aunt, and hope soon she’ll be back good as new. (I also wasn’t sure whether you were a “her” or a “him” by your screen name) :)

Sure glad to know you’re a her, not a him! I sorta thought as Kitty did. Just the screen-name, I guess! Sometimes names can fool us. Wishing the best for you and Aunt Mickey!

Back..busy busy day.

FOrtunately the only problem with my GPS was a fuse out in the charger that connected with the car lighter.

The concert was really interesting. Are any of you familiar with the Mozart opera Magic Flute? One of the professors at CIM wrote a i;ntrocutions of sorts to it.. about 40 minutes long with intent to make it be more easily understood. My freind was in it & when I got there was pleasantly surprised to see Chelsea Coyne as one of the principals. I have know here & followed her musical career for several years.

well.. it has been a long day.. should do some work but want to sleep

Jaycee.. we never did much personally with fireworks. Growing up we did sparklers.. We normally spent every 4th july at my uncles in Dunkirk. It was his birthday & the extended family got together each year for family reunion. At peak we had about 60. filled up the hotels in very small town & had tents & campers all over uncle’s property.. There were big bondfires on the beach & lots of pretty & noisy fireworks.

Those were wonderful times, that at the time we all took for granted.

hope everyone is doing well..tired

Isn’t she cute? She looks like she see’s herself in the puddle. Kids love rain and splashing around in it.

We all had some great times ‘back in the days’...only now we realize how much fun those times were. I remember Daddy always got us sparklers at Christmas time??? But I can’t remember my Dad ever using any fireworks. Maybe then they weren’t as easy to get.

By the way, if you wanna sleep, please do! We should obey our bodies.....LOL! I had to take a nap this afternoon; I always do!

In an attempt to stop the spread of bird flu, Barack Hussein Dumbama has just bombed the Canary Islands. Turkey is next.
