Yup, the large and organized voting blocs are seeing the
green. Screw the little needy people.

The OVER PAID and OVER SPENDING “Civil Servants” - get CASH.
The illegal alien benefit providers — get CASH.

The taxpayers and creditors — get SHIT.

Last fall when I began hearing about the possibility of states running out of money, that’s when I started getting serious about using firearms. I figured that sooner or later these people on welfare will go looking for what they want or need, and we’ll need to be able to protect ourselves and our homes.

If I were a CA vendor, I’d not provide a THING until I am paid up front. Businesses aren’t in business to support the State.

It is better to move out of SoCal especially, IMHO. I figure that LA would decay fast, and basic services would break down including electricity and water distribution. On top of the danger that vast underclass becoming lawless mobs, local gov may not be able to put out or contain seasonal wildfires. No money, no upkeep of equipments, dwindling personnel would contribute this. Then, when wildfire breaks out, it would spread unchecked and burn for many weeks or even months. It could torch much of LA area.

If CA gov goes broke and local govs breaks down, the infrastructure to ensure steady distribution of electricity and water would be destroyed. End of LA style urban life, which require steady supply of electricity(air conditioning) and water. With additional serious hazard of unchecked wildfire, cities like LA would be depopulated fast. Even mobs can have nothing to pillage on and they have to drink water and escape for constant heat. LA could become a ghost town relic in the desert.

The problem is that it is the state who controls the law enforcement arm and probably most judges. It is like when you have a contract to deliver to a bankrupt company - you can still be ordered to deliver even though you will never get paid.

We are getting closer to a third world banana republic everyday.

Comrade, you need to rethink your position! It is “From each according to their ability, to each according to their need”. If you don’t like the Obamassiah’s way, then you need a nice little re-education camp!

Play nicely, comrade!

California's Empty Wallet: Turning Crisis into Opportunity

Like Purtin's KGB-controlled Russia, California is facing 'poverty amidst plenty.' Lots of poverty but the new oligarchs manage to live very well indeed. Who are these new oligarchs _____? You guessed it. Politicos are #1. Your lists are accurate.

The state has the eighth largest economy in the world, larger than Russia’s, Brazil’s, Canada’s and India’s. It has the resources, labor, and technical expertise to make just about anything its citizens put their minds to. The only thing lacking is the money to do it. But money is merely a medium of exchange, a means of getting suppliers, laborers and customers together so that they can produce and exchange products . . .

What Sheldon Emry wrote of nations is equally true of states:

“It is as ridiculous for a nation to say to its citizens, ‘You must consume less because we are short of money,’ as it would be for an airline to say, ‘Our planes are flying, but we cannot take you because we are short of tickets.’”

Californians owed tax refunds should bring a class action suit to seize government assets for payment. I would start with seizing Arnold’s office furniture and the Legislator’s desks.
