Corey Feldman Dresses Like the King of Pop at Michael Jackson Memorial
New York Daily News ^ | Tuesday, July 7th 2009, 2:30 PM | by Cristina Everett

It wouldn’t be unusual to see an avid Michael Jackson fan dressed up as the King of Pop at the late singer’s memorial. Unless that fan is Corey Feldman.

The iconic 80s actor made quite the entrance as he arrived to the late pop singer’s memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning.

Wearing a replica of Jackson’s famous military jacket, sunglasses and a black fedora, Feldman, 37, drew puzzled looks, including one from John Mayer, as he used a Kleenex to wipe away his tears, Usmagazine.com reports.

Jackson’s public memorial appears to have hit a soft spot in Feldman, who befriended MJ during the height of both of their career in the 80s.

The unlikely friendship between the two men began during Feldman’s teen years, but they eventually drifted apart.

"I am filled with tremendous sadness and remorse," Feldman wrote on his Web site after Jackson's June 25 death. "All I choose to remember from this point is the good times we shared and what an inspiration he was to me and the rest of the world. Nobody will ever be able to do what Michael Jackson has done in this industry, and he was so close to doing it all again."

Although Feldman did not keep in touch with the singer before his untimely death, the actor remains friendly with the rest of the Jackson family today

Didn’t he come forward to say he was molested by Michael Jackson as a youth?

I know one of the Cories did.

What a joke. I loathe how every journalism school ccalls everything these days “iconic.”

People in LA are so fake. The entertainment business is disgusting. He was trying to get noticed to get work.

I’d say he is overflowing with something else, entirely.

"He was trying to get noticed to get work."

Bingo. His latest gig was the trainwreck bad "Lost Boys 2" on TNT and I think that had been is only real job in years. He spent the whole time talking like he gargled with broken glass.

COREY FELDMAN - FELDMAN: ‘JACKSON THREATENED MY LIFE’

Child actor COREY FELDMAN has revealed his former pal MICHAEL JACKSON once threatened his life because he thought THE GOONIES star was planning to reveal all about their friendship.

Feldman taped an interview with British investigative reporter MARTIN BASHIR just before he was called as a prosecution witness in Jackson’s child molestation trial and told the journalist his friendship with the King of Pop ended badly on the eve of the terrorist attacks on New York in 2001.

The actor was among the celebrities attending Jackson’s star-studded anniversary concert in New York and was shocked by a brief chat he had with his friend backstage.

In the Bashir interview, which featured on US news show 20/20 on Friday night (11FEB05), Feldman recalled, “Michael had some paranoid delusion that I had some ill-fated intentions to write some sort of book about him, which was categorically untrue.

“What happened next was basically, the way I perceived it, is that he threatened my life.”

Jackson refused to transport Feldman out of New York on his tour bus the following day (11SEP01), after terrorist planes had hit the twin towers of the World Trade Center.

I know one of the Cories did.

He was supoenaed during the 2005 trial.

Feldman said he wasn't "improperly touched" by Jackson, but that the relationship was "inappropriate".

More here.

Read that somewhere too. He kind of alluded that MJ gave him some Jesus juice and tried to touch him in the bathing suit area.

Jeez, how many kids did Jackson supposedly molest?!

Amazing how the liberals depict Sarah Palin as a horrible person and yet honor and worship a man who should have been convicted as a child molester.

the media, lib news media and whole entertainment business is just evil. Making MJ into a saint after he ordered his children to be conceived from a doctor and doctor’s nurse. The children, like babies murdered during abortions, have no rights.

Can you imagine being born and it turns out MJ was your father?

Macauly Caulkin?

As far as it goes - parents who wanted their kids to be celebrities probably lined up at Neverland to offer their kids up to MJ so he would get them acting, movie and TV work.

I remember when Corey Feldman was in the movie “Dream a Little Dream” he dressed like that, also. It wasn’t uncommon to see back in his heyday.

I always hated this squirrelly little punk.He was on some celebrity rehab show and was whining about the others going on a fishing trip telling them the fish feel pain. Now it sounds like he was one of Mikey’s butt buddies.

Well, they say satiric sarcasm turns to stupidity if no one recognizes it as such.

My point was the perverts efforts to feminize (ya know, my dictionary says that's not even a word) himself and make himself whiter.

Flew right over, I guess.

And yes, I did get the Faye Dunaway reference.

Oh, well, a comedian, I'm not, huh?

Nor a cunning linguist.

Last year, Mancow (not the radio host’s REAL name...) had some guest on and was discussing the allegation. Maybe he had one of the Cories on and they were discussing the other one. I don’t recall.

They were discussing substance abuse and some of what led to it. The conversation included a line like “how could you leave me there alone with him, you know what he did...”
