London, July 07(ANI): Heroes star Hayden Panettieres character will turn lesbian in the next series of the hit show, sources say.
Its just girly fun at first. But it might progress into something more serious. It depends how viewers respond, the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.
In the next series, the 19-year-old is expected to develop a relationship with her college roommate.
Panettiere recently made news after she parted ways with her beau T4 presenter Steve Jones after a brief fling.
The actress insists that she couldnt handle a long-distance relationship. (ANI)

WHY????
Is her new secret weapon a deadly strap on?
This thread is absolutely useless without video. Come on, people!
I'm glad I don't have a TV.
There used to be a bumper sticker that said,
+-------------------+
SHOOT YOUR TV

TWICE
+-------------------+
For some unknown reason, I am conflicted about this news.
Only if the other “cheerleader” is as hot as she is.
I am endlessly amused by people who piously “don’t own a TV”, and yet incessantly comment on every TV-related thread about their superior “non-TV” stance.
Good grief. You’re welcome to whatever entertainment suits you, but come off your high horse.

It sounds like they are gonna take a shot at jumping the shark. [sigh] ... Generating hype with a little gay/lesbian buzz. Predictable.
I'll pass on this season.
Re your pic in post #13:
Now that is an everyday natural pose. Secrets of the cheerleader next door.
Jack Bauer will probably be the next one to come out of the closet.
If that happens, I’m selling my plasma TVs in a garage sale.
That show started pretty good but by the middle of the second season it was unwatchable.
Sorry to butt in on your little party.
But I don’t “incessantly comment on every TV-related thread”, either.
What attracted me to this thread is the wish to comment on the continuing abuse of the medium of Television in order to normalize and glorify homosexuality and other abominations.
If somebody knocked on your door and started performing a homosexual act on your doorstep, you’d slam the door in their face. Yet, you’ll walk across the room, turn on the TV, and invite people to do that in front of your families.
One guy at work once told me that the TV has some good things on it. Well, the cafeteria dumpster probably has some good stuff in it, too, but I ain’t about to root around in the garbage to go look for it.
The show has been dying a slow death since season one ended. This sounds like a cynical ratings stunt.
>> But I dont incessantly comment on every TV-related thread, either.
Someone from your tribe inevitably makes an appearance.
>> Yet, youll walk across the room, turn on the TV, and invite people to do that in front of your families.
No, I really don’t.
>> One guy at work once told me that the TV has some good things on it. Well, the cafeteria dumpster probably has some good stuff in it, too, but I aint about to root around in the garbage to go look for it.
Your house, your right. Personally, I enjoy television. It is entertaining, and I can easily pass on the less desirable material. There’s always ESPN, and even network TV has its worthwhile moments. My point wasn’t that your assessment was absolutely wrong and/or offensive. I disagree, but I honestly couldn’t care less if you watch TV.
My point was simply that self-superiority is unbecoming.

Proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
It does get old, though, on every TV thread for people who don't watch TV to bash shows they have never seen.
I missed most of the first season during first-run, but on the suggestion of a friend I caught all the reruns in order (on SciFi, I think) and I really liked it -- because it was mostly about self-discovery.
But like you, I lost interest after the first few episodes in the second season. The plot-lines got so convoluted, I didn't have the energy to follow them.
Is the show going to continue to rip off old Xmen plot lines? I stopped watching after a couple of episodes when I realized that Chris Claremont did it much better on the printed page.
Yawn...I quit watching Heroes after the second season.Became overly complex and over the top. It was fun entertainment for a while, then not worth the effort to follow.
These Hollywood people get way too full of themselves when a show is successful. The gay thing is the next logical (for them) step. Also makes me wonder if they are getting a little desperate with the storyline.
IMO, The premise of the program gave it a limited life from the get go. Fun, but not long running potential. But Tinsel Town never knows how to quit when ahead.
I watch quite a bit of TV myself — 24, Smallville, Mythbusters, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, House, Big Bang Theory. Baseball. ESPN. Fox News. We watch Heroes a bit. Seinfeld reruns. History Channel. Nothing horribly offensive to this conservative Christian. There’s some adult content — but I am an adult (or so my wife tells me). It’ll take a lot more than a TV show to turn me away from my faith.
>> It does get old, though, on every TV thread for people who don’t watch TV to bash shows they have never seen.
Apparently word on the street is that broadcast/ cable TV is a 24/7 orgy.

> My point was simply that self-superiority is unbecoming.
My apologies if I came across as “self-superior”.
Was not my intent.
But the stuff they have been putting on TV for about the last 20 years is just gross. It was about 20 years ago that we got rid of it, about a year after the birth of our daughter.
If we want video entertainment, we’ll buy or rent or borrow a dvd and watch it on the computer.
This little "spoiler" will probably clinch the decision in the "no" category.
> Apparently word on the street is that broadcast/ cable TV
> is a 24/7 orgy.
By the conversation of those that have TV, that’s what it sounds like to those of us who don’t.
The Bible teaches in Ephesians 5:11 to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”
And in Psalm 101:3, “I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes; I hate the work of them that turn aside. It shall not cleave to me.”
Make of that what you will, but by my reckoning, we ought to be very careful about what we call entertainment and what we allow ourselves to watch.
You’re free to do what you want, of course, and I’d never favor any law to limit that. However, I’m free to tell you what I think about it. The best way to limit this garbage is for people to have a change of heart.
>> But the stuff they have been putting on TV for about the last 20 years is just gross. It was about 20 years ago that we got rid of it, about a year after the birth of our daughter.
Then, respectfully, what do you know of it? You haven’t owned a TV for 20 years — and yet strongly disapprove of the 20-years of televised content that you didn’t see? I’m confused.
>> My apologies if I came across as self-superior.
It comes off as self-superior precisely because you pass judgment on 20-years of content that you haven’t seen — and on those who have watched and enjoyed that which you chose not to see.
>> If we want video entertainment, well buy or rent or borrow a dvd and watch it on the computer.
And who could question the purity of DVD and internet video content? Those sources are far more prone to “gross” images than is television.
SnakeDoc
> Then, respectfully, what do you know of it?
As I mentioned in a previous post, I hear my relatives and the guys at work talking about it. It sounds worse and worse by the year.
> And who could question the purity of DVD and internet

> to gross images than is television.
You mean like, Gospel Bill?
How about, the Christiano Brothers films?
Ever seen, “Time Changers”? “Facing the Giants”?
How about, “Behind the Sun”, “Bamboo in Winter”, “Eastern Bride”, “Flywheel”? “UFO”? “Six”? “End of the Harvest”?
Or, the DVDs available from Christian Book Distributors, Answers in Genesis, Instutute for Creation Research?
>> By the conversation of those that have TV, thats what it sounds like to those of us who dont.
Perhaps those conversations are not as representative as you seem to think. There is some truly good television. Good messages. Good images. Just good. For instance — “The Unit” (show created to display the life and sacrifices of American Delta Forces), “Mythbusters” (uses science to dispel urban legends), “John Adams” (HBO miniseries about the founding of this country).
>> Make of that what you will, but by my reckoning, we ought to be very careful about what we call entertainment and what we allow ourselves to watch.
By my reckoning, careful does not necessarily mean blind. Being selective is absolutely necessary. We are selective, particularly with the kids. I’ve seen no need whatsoever to simply rid myself of the TV.
>> The best way to limit this garbage is for people to have a change of heart.
Again — how are you so sure its all garbage? You don’t watch.
SnakeDoc
>> Why are you trying so hard to defend television? Is it because you know that it is crap but you don’t want to admit that you are naively polluting your own mind by watching it?
I defend that which is defensible, and do not defend that which is indefensible. Televised content has some in each category. Declaring all televised content “crap”, and all viewers of any televised content “naive” is simply ridiculous. I trust my ability to distinguish between the “crap” and the worthwhile material.
>> I applaud the people who haven’t watched TV in 20 years, and I’m happy to see them pipe up in these threads so that other people who waste time watching TV can be reminded that there are other things in life.
I cannot applaud false piety based on an uninformed opinion about the entirety of televised content. Nor can I applaud the associated judgment of those whose have determined that some televised content might be worthwhile.
SnakeDoc
You should check out the tv show “the 4400”. It came out before “Heroes” and I think it did it better.
>> As I mentioned in a previous post, I hear my relatives and the guys at work talking about it. It sounds worse and worse by the year.
The guys at work — forgot about them.
As for your list of DVD and Internet content. Fair enough. I haven’t seen a one of them, but I’m sure they’re great. I have trouble passing judgment on content I haven’t seen. I’ll check with the guys at work.
SnakeDoc
Did you ever watch eureka?
Nope.
SD
“I’ll pass on this season.”
Yep, and to think, they cancelled Life for this.
I lost any respect I might have had for her after her classless and vulgar anti-McCain ad during the 2008 election campaign. This girl is as pretty as they come and about as smart as a piece of toast.
I also enjoyed the show when it first came out, and even managed to get a few episodes into the 3rd season before deciding enough is enough.
The show had two fatal flaws:
1) They made good and evil meaningless. Characters that started out as good were revealed to be evil, and characters that we thought were evil were revealed to have a good side. Liberals love that kind of thing since they don't believe in any objective truth, but it annoyed me to no end.
2) By killing off and then resurrecting just about every character in the show, they made death meaningless, and thus removed any potential for suspense that the show might have had. If it's that easy to bring characters back to life (and the writers devised many ways to do so), what is the friggin' point? Go ahead and kill the cheerleader and all her friends. We know they'll be back.
It’s ok, I stopped watching after it became clear that the writers were making it up as they went along. I forced myself to watch the last episode of season three, where they tricked Syler into assuming Nathan’s identity - gahhhh, I have no regrets about giving up on the show.
Cute, but another tattooed leftist airhead.
> Ill check with the guys at work.
Your smarmy responses don’t sound very Christian to me, but I’m just a rube; not one of those smart TV watchers.
I’ll venture that, like you, none of the guys where you work has ever heard of those films. None of the guys I work with ever has. They know alot about the most salacious garbage on TV, though, including the commercials.
Couldn't agree more. Every episode they shifted around the characters positions: who they were allied with, what they were fighting for, what they were hoping to accomplish. Certainly people can change over time, but not that quickly. I suppose the writers believed they were making the characters complex; I call it just poor character development. In the end, they all ended up looking fake - with the interpersonal "drama" between them being the biggest fake of all.
That has got to be about the most accurate analogy I have heard in ... forever.
>> Your smarmy responses dont sound very Christian to me, but Im just a rube; not one of those smart TV watchers.
Luckily for me, you are not the arbiter of what is, and is not, Christian behavior. Prideful piety is, unfortunately, all too common among Christians.
I never stated or implied that you were a “rube” or that TV watchers were necessarily smart.
