The attorney representing an Army major fighting deployment to Afghanistan because he believes Barack Obama is not legally his commander-in-chief is declaring victory after the Soldier's orders were revoked yesterday.
California lawyer Orly Taitz says any service member may now refuse any order by questioning Obama's legitimacy.
"Do you know what this means?" Taitz asked in a telephone interview with Military.com Tuesday, about an hour after hearing from Maj. Stefan Cook, the officer fighting his deployment to Afghanistan. "It means the Obama administration has blinked. They have no cards to play with. The moment I filed a lawsuit, they didn't even fight!"

They might be revoking his orders because they are going to court martial him. This story is not over yet.
I read that they are going to discharge him. Whether he gets Court Martialled is up in the air. This definitely has the “smell” of the White House trying quash any questioning of zer0’s qualifications.

There is no way in hellthat Obama and his minions will let this man off scott free. watch in the coming days as he gets everything in his life destroyed, court martialed in a manner that does not allow the defense he wouldwant to use or he simply willnopt be allowed to useit.
If he gets court martialled he can press for the birth certificate to be entered as evidence.
I’ll bet he gets an honorable discharge. that will be the proof that the Major is right.
Major Cook was just fired from his job with a civilian defense contractor.

While the majority ofmen and women in the military may think Obama sucks and may agree that he isn;tor shouldn;tbe the President the military does nottake those that disobey orders lightly for ANY REASON.
That will give him two people to sue - US Govt and the company. Firing is a little Chi-Town payback from you know who and very low.
Why can’t our distinguished, patriotic President simply present his original long form birth certificate to prove his eligibility? Actions speak louder than words.
It means his case is under consideration. The Major is now in an undeployable status.
I too would like to see proof that President Obama is legit - but this is no big thing, it’s just the normal routine.

Yes, I haven’t seen the proof either - but Barrack Hussain Obama was sworn in as our President. Like it or not, he is our President and Commander in Chief until removed from office.
Earlier today, Quon said Cook submitted a formal written request to Human Resources Command-St. Louis on May 8, 2009 volunteering to serve one year in Afghanistan with Special Operations Command, U.S. Army Central Command, beginning July 15, 2009. The soldier’s orders were issued on June 9, Quon said.
“A reserve soldier who volunteers for an active duty tour may ask for a revocation of orders up until the day he is scheduled to report for active duty,” Quon said.

Not if such swearing occurred under demonstrably false conditions, in which case Plugs the Wonder Gaffe would become President. Same thing if Joe Jones impersonated Senator-elect John Smith at the swearing in; the swearing is void on the spot (or, once the personation has been demonstrated), and the lawfully elected person, Smith in this example, would be sworn in and take his seat.
Before news of the deployment orders being revoked were reported, MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann tonight called Cook a "jackass" and Taitz a "conwoman," as he labeled both of them the "worst persons in the world." He flayed the soldier as "an embarrassment to all those who have served without cowardice."
