This is not a birth certificate. The state of Hawaii does not accept a Certification of Live Birth as singular proof that an individual was actually born in Hawaii.

What would the argument in court be? Would it be similar to Major Cooks?
However, my understanding of the term “Natural Born Citizen” would require that both of Obama’s parents be US Citizens at the time of his birth. We already know his Father wasn't, and his Mother's dual Citizenship issue would make her status suspect as well.
If just being born on US soil was the requirement, every Anchor Baby born one inch inside US Territory would be eligible to be POTUS.
I know we have beat this like a dead horse, but that is how I see it.
There are many more cases already about this issue that judges are hearing.
I've been thinking about this.
If Obama increases my taxes by signing a law, then I would be harmed if he were a fraudulent president. Everyone who would be required by law to pay higher taxes would have the standing to ask if Obama had the qualifications to be president and to sign any bills into law.

From what I’m seeing the Dems are so giddy with power they’ve forgotten this is the USA and not CUBA.
I’d love to see one, just one high profile democrat come out and demand Obama prove his eligibility for office. Not one has the cajones to do so and probably would be found dead (suicide of course) before they could say a single word.

I don’t know,I have some family members that live in DC that are a religious lobby group and from what I understand is that this is discussed among them constantly as other lobby groups are doing the same.I don’t know where this is really going until the courts put the issue to rest.
Awesome idea! Might not go over well with the IRS, but a court case first to challenge taxes on the grounds Obama is ineligible would make some serious noise.

Yes, there are claims that Obama may not a natural born citizen regardless of where he was born since his father was a Kenyan. I believe that he was born in Kenya. Thus, his mother was to young to pass along American citizenship. I have not heard evidence that Obama’s mother was in Hawaii preceding his birth.
If Obama attended Occidental College as a foreign student, that could indicate that he’s not a natural born citizen as well.
There needs to be a coordinated “Manhattan Project” to factually and sanely (yet with humor) discredit Barry. The ‘hidden long form’, college records, college finance records, college application, selective service records, travel documents (passport used for travel during his college years), application for the Illinois Bar, his entire Illinois State Senate records, peripheral relationships regarding the unsolved murder of the TUCC choir director, etc. This needs to be taken on by a well-known, objective, and authoritative entity. The reset button needs to be built, tested, and PUSHED! Who will it be?
If enough states did so, that may cause Obama to not run for re-election and cover up his decision with some unrelated reason.
BTW, Congress can act and require the Federal Election Commission to vet candidates' constitutionally required credentials. That's the idea in a current bill in the House of Representatives proposed by Cong. Posey (R-FL). However, it has no practical chance of passage due to the current political makeup of Congress. Even if the GOP should win both houses of Congress in 2010, and could pass such legislation, Obama would naturally veto it, requiring two thirds majorities to override. Again, not very likely.
Well, if he decided not to run, that’s certainly one way to get rid of him.
And you’re right, there’s not a chance to get something like that through Congress. However, there are very good chances of getting through *certain* state legislatures. All you have to have is one — technically speaking — but, having about five or ten states would be better.
