Go into your google preferences and go down to where it asks about queries and it mentions history, go in there and empty that history and disable it, and you wont have that problem. Google records every search and how many times you have searched that term. If you dump that history and disable it, it will quit that.
Google is for libs.

this makes me look at other avenues of communication.... phones ..... and if they go out, we are isolated.... this has just started after obamanation (and my own activism)
That is why, we have other forms of comm set up for other kinds of emergencies, not just using the phone lines or computer line[s], but stuff that the wife & kids can use too! I trust the gov.’t as far as I can throw them!

As my kids are smaller [15 & 11] we don’t have to deal with are long range comm. problems. In your case may I suggest “ham” radio set up. The no code tech. lisc. does not cost very much and there is a large amount of equipment out there to be had for low cost as well. Then for back up power, you could get a windmill & storage battries. I have applied for a federal grant for the windmills & it looks like we are going to get it too.
