(Hooker mystery solved?)PA GOVERNOR ED RENDELL (D) ALSO CLIENT OF SAME HOOKER AS ELIOT SPITZER

No wonder Ed is always smiling. Just another Dem who can't keep his pecker in his pants..

Man, Ed Rendell is so screwed -- literally.

I don't normally listen to Opie & Anthony looking for breaking news, but astonishingly that's what I just got. A few minutes ago, the cast of the show on Sirius XM radio were interviewing Kristin Davis -- not the one from Sex and the City, the former Manhattan Madam who spent four months in Rikers in connection with the Eliot Spitzer hooker scandal from last year. There's been quite a bit of speculation that her operation at one time serviced another high-profile governor, besides Spitzer, and up until now she's been largely quiet about just who that governor is.

Well, during the interview, she admitted that someone she called "Governor X" employed her services at least ten times during a year-and-a-half period. She apparently wrote his name down on a piece of paper and showed it to Opie and Anthony, who then proceeded to spend the next ten minutes dropping hints that a 4-year-old could've deciphered.

"What, did he pay her in coal and steel?"

"I guess he had a little filly on the side."

"Did he used to be an Eagles scout?"

The whole thing ended with show regular Jim Norton making a hysterical Freudian slip during the plugs for his upcoming gigs.

"I'll be in Pennsylvania this weekend," he said, then corrected himself to the sound of everyone's laughter.

Bottom line: power up the phony contrition machine and the media pile-on -- things are about to get interesting.

Two weeks ago he was trashing Sarah for “abandoning her state,” so he can’t pull a Spitzer here. He’ll spin over the fire like a hog on a spit for the next 18 months. Karma is a bitch, ain’t it?

“Hard to see him spending $1500 a pop. He’s known all over Philly as an incredibly stingy tipper who gives waitresses a hard time. Reporter Lisa dePaolo was winding up for the knockout blow on this dirtbag when the Chandra Levy/Gary Condit scandals knocked her off the front page.”

Well, when it’s taxpayer money, Rendell can be as extravagant as he wants to be.

I have longed for some scandal to take him down...although I would have liked to have seen this occur eearly in his governorship. We’ve had nothing but lousy governors in this state (Democrat and Republican),. but Rendell is probably the worst. He’s your typical tax and spend Democrat. Right now, the state budget is overdue. Rendell already has said he wants an increase in the state income tax, but will he make cuts in spending? Of course not. Will he make sacrifices as Obama has said we should do (such as his chauffeur-driven Lexus)? Nah! Ok for the taxpayers to pony up, but there is no way he is going to give up any part of his salary, his taxpayer funde-d health insurance and pension, and all the “beneys” he gets as Governor.

I cannot for the life of me understand how he was re-elected last time...well, unless there was voter fraud, which is a real possibility. Plus he has huge support from the unions and in this part of the world, unions rule.

Maybe something will bite him in the backside. Better late than never.

Maybe a few of those times he was speeding down the highway between Philly and Harrisburg he was really trying to make it home before the Mrs. realized he was overdue...?

Its clear these allegations are against my governor Edward G. Rendell.

His spokesman is denying any involvement right now, but I can connect Ed Rendell three ways to what I would call alcoholic-addictive behavior.

I can’t explain how in two of the three cases. I won’t disclose matters that are too personal or confidential.

There is a third situation I will describe because it involves a member of the media I am familar with.

I will make my description on the Pennyslvania message board.

Does this look like it is going anywhere, or are they just going to bury it? I can’t stand Rendell. He’s so smarmy.

I have just posted my message on the PA board.

It regards a man Rendell met during his 2002 campaign and appointed as homeland security director for PA.

The man had a reputation for drinking and interest in women.

I see two other connections but its too personal and private to use.

What I’m drawing in my own mind is the picture that Ed Rendell has a problem or problems and its reflected in who he who associates with.

I used to be in the media round here and so I used the media man as my example.

I wonder if we should email Judge Rendell and ask her if she has any comments on the accusations.

This is all over the web, today. I mean ALL over, as well as the news that Rendell’s spokesperson has resigned. Actually, I think that he resigned prior to the scandal breaking, but none the less, he’s gone. Rendell will have to speak for himself.

It’s all over the web, today, including on the Huffington Post. I also read that Rendell’s press spokesman resigned this week, saying that he just couldn’t handle the fall out from the budget cuts. So, maybe the release of this scandal is pay back from some unhappy lobby group?
