I had a relative go to New Jersey a few years ago and they said the NJ roads were worse than East Germany right after the fall of the wall.

Sort of funny with the high tolls on the Garden State Parkway and Turnpike.

+PA roads are bad, I hate to see what NJ roads are like. Are they dirt trails and goat paths? There are roads in PA that look like the Ho Chi Minh trail after a ARCLIGHT mission. If NJ are worse than ours, I pity yunz guys.

Although it is commonly believed that tolls help pay for road maintenance, the truth is that its main purpose is graft for Democratic politicians

I have been on a few of those crazy PA roads where my husband grew up in Bucks County...ha ha ha

NJ Highways are riddled with potholes due to lack of repair and overuse. I used to have a 45 mile commute that took about an hour and a half due to the traffic...

Toll $$ used for highway repair...What an idea!!!!

Too bad it ends up in corrupt politicians' pockets.

Buttttttt

Where does NJ rate on taxes?

We all know, more government, more taxes = better roads, schools, medical care, etc, right?

LOL! Ho Chi Mihn trail after an ARCLIGHT mission! Best line of the week.

i remember having to drive through Jersey a few years ago on the NJ Turnpike in NE NJ near the Meadowlands. They had some little pine trees on the side of the turnpike. just a few. They had signs that they spread goo on the trees to keep the locals from stealing them for christmas trees or something.

Most of the roads I travel on out here in the country are not too bad..but there are a few that would make you laugh or cry depending on how you look at it.

<P.The highays are in need of a lot of repair...

Rural parts of NJ are very pretty but the state is run by criminal mutant scum.

Of course, all of the money that should be going to fix the roads is being used to bribe the politicians.

Another paradox. The state probably has the highest population of mob-connected (and perhaps not mob-connected, if there is such a thing) road builders...well I guess it's not a paradox after all, then.

It reminds me of Florida, which, a half a lifetime ago, was one of the largest dairy producing states and yet had milk prices that were higher than many on the eastern seaboard.

I totally agree with you. #1 in unemployment. #1 in emigration. Now I know what ‘blown away’ really means.
