Well, surely this will settle finally once and for all that Barack Hussein Obama was really, actually and factually born in the United States and, therefore, is fully qualified according to the U.S. Constitution to be the president that he has been since he took the oath of office on Jan. 20 and a second time shortly after, just to make sure.

Per Article 2, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution, one must be a natural born American citizen to serve as President. Barack Obama is NOT eligible for the Presidency because he is not a natural born citizen. The law that applied during the time of Obama’s birth (in effect from December 24, 1952 to November 13, 1986) stated- “If only one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least ten years, at least five of which had to be after the age of 16.” Obama’s father was a Kenyan citizen (a British Colony) and his mother just 18 at Obama’s birth...” (thus, she would have had to have been 21 in order for Obama to be eligible). John A. Bingham, primary framer, 14th Amendment, states- “Every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen.” Obama himself has stated that he is the son of a Kenyan- Kenya being a foreign sovereignty. Thus, Obama is not a natural born citizen even if he were actually born in Hawaii.

There is no official statement posted on the official website of the state of Hawaii. The last statement that Fukino gave in October of 2008 IS on line. There are no details about the statement such as when it was made. There are no links to any official document. All stories on the internet are based on 1 story that “broke” late last night on 1 website by 1 reporter.

It’s a bogus story until it’s official.

OK, the only part of that paragraph within quotes is "vital records". However, the author certainly writes like Dr Fukino had named the hospital. Just bad writing or? (And how does the author know which hospital O was born at. It appears that not even the Obama family is certain about that.)

Here is Dr Fukino's statement as quoted by USA Today:

"I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawai'i State Department of Health verifying Barrack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. 2 things of interest from another thread.

Someone posted that Stanley would have wanted Barry to be an American Citizen. If his father might have negated this (not a US citizen), Stanley may have signed a hospital form that indicated the father was “UNKNOWN”.

After viewing a 1963 LF/BC on the same thread, the mother and father have entries for “Race”. With the mother a Caucasian and the father unknown, Barry would have been classed as a Caucasian (damaging!) in subsequent official documents (school, medical, etc.).

Finally, if the LF/BC has “unknown” for the father, his book “Dreams..” becomes a point of suspicion.

On October 31st 2008 Doctor Fukino issued the following press release:

"Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai'i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai'i State Department of Health has Sen. At the very minimum, the competent state official in Hawaii confirms that the original birth certificate is on record as at October 31, 2008. Yet many objected that the official did not explicitly state that Obama was born in Hawaii. Now Doctor Fukino explicitly states that Obama was born in Hawaii and that fact is recorded in the "vital records":

I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawai'i State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawai'i State Department of Health verifying Barrack Hussein Obama was born in Hawai'i and is a natural-born American citizen. Now many complain that Doctor Fukino does not recite that she examined the underlying birth certificate but only some "vital records" which could mean something apart from the original long form birth certificate. Unfortunately for this quibble, Doctor Fukino explicitly refers back to her October 2008 statement. That is significant because that statement says explicitly that the original birth certificate is on record. Therefore, no reasonable reader can conclude otherwise than that the competent state official of Hawaii is affirming that the original birth certificate, which is in the file and which she has personally examined in the presence of another official, says that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

Folks, let's work with the facts.

I did not refer to Doctor Fukino's reference to "natural born citizen," in fact, in a previous post I explicitly stated that I discounted that reference for her want of expertise. But that has nothing to do with what she says she saw. Either you must believe she is lying, or so stupid she cannot recognize a document common to her job description, or she saw an original birth certificate that says he was born in Hawaii.

As far as her allegedly violating the law of the state of Hawaii, because she did maintain the secrecy of the document, I note that she is only reciting what is on the Certification of Live Birth which states that Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Therefore I presume she felt that she was operating within the law in revealing that she saw in the document that he was born in Hawaii. As to her statement concerning natural born citizenship, that is a legal conclusion and not a revelation of the contents of a document.

Here is the problem with fighthesmears narrative: We already have recorded that Obama's wife michellle said Obama's mother was "very young and very single" when obama was born. British law at the time of obama's birth only gave citizenship from the father to the son in the case that the father is married to the mother:ie the son is legitimate. See wikipedia 2.4.3Since obama's parents were NOT married -- how did obama get his British/Kenyancitizenship? Its not unreasonable to think that he got his British/Kenyan because he was born there--and not because of his parentage. As to the famous newsclipping in Hawaii that states that bama was born there in 1961--there is evidence to suggest that the house named as the place where Obama was born -- was lived in by someone else besides his parents. Once again, Just one piece of evidence could easily be dismissed. It is the accumulation of evidence that is troubling.
It is well established that Obama did travel to Indonesia and Pakistan in 1981. In a tape of his speech at this April 6, 2008 San Francisco Fundraiser, Obama discloses his trip to Pakistan (40:17) when he was in college. On what passport did he travel?

A last arguement for baraks people might be that of course the Kenyans would have an interest in claiming that obama was a "son of the soil" both as a matter of pride and as a matter of bucks coming their way. However, if Obama was not born in Kenya -- then why wouldn't Obama release his original long form birth certificate. Instead of just releasing his long form birth certificate he has paid his lawyers 1 million dollars from campaign contributions since Sept 08 to squash the suits brought on the issue. On top of that according to the LA Times since the election -- the Kenyans feel that Obama has gone out of his way to snub/ignore/distance-himself them. The Kenyans are putting up reasons like perhaps they are insufficiently perfected for him to notice them--but here in the USA we have seen Obama throw a number of embarrasing people from his past under the bus. Obama is going to Africa. Will he visit Kenya? Nope. Exactly What IS a Natural Born Citizen?

The thing has become a joke in washington. Joe Biden Joked at the Gridiron Dinner in March 09.

After mentioning one of the Republican speakers for the evening, Arnold Schwarzenegger, was born in Austria and that one of the Democratic speakers, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, was born in Canada, Biden chortled: "Folks, this is going to be Lou Dobbs' worst nightmare. "

The long form says that his real name is the very pedestrian “Barry Dunham” rather than the über-kewl “Barack Obama.” Not disqualifying, but it shows the world what a fraud he’s been since the day he was old enough to function under an assumed name.
