“God promises in the Bible to heal, Neumann said: “For that to take place in our lives, we have to live on God’s instruction.”

People forget that if God didn’t want us to cure these diseases, then he wouldn’t give us minds with which to figure out what needs to be done, or the stuff we need to make the cures with.

A central Wisconsin man charged with killing his daughter by praying instead of taking her to a doctor read from the Bible while testifying Thursday that he couldn't seek medical help without disobeying God

That's what happens when you let popular television drive your theology instead of the Bible....

Did this nutcase even read a Bible?

Doesn’t he know that Luke (as in the Gospel of Luke) was a Doctor?

I detest idiots who blame God and religion for what they themselves have done wrong.

Here in WI, back when this crime occurred, I recall hearing that the parents of this child gave themselves good healthcare. That is the problem with the parent’s defense. They got themselves taken care of and neglected their daughter. Neighbors and/or friends who saw the girl in the weeks before she died, were shocked at her condition. The parents should both do a lot of time for allowing this child to die. Everyone is aware that there is very effective treatment and she could have lived a nearly normal life with that proper treatment and care.
