Help! ( soundtrack)

Yeah, was wondering about how these 'rules' would be applied. OK, "HELP!" is part of a soundtrack, but it was an album of new music before it was a soundtrack ... it should count.

What are we gonna do when we get to J .... (as in "Jesus Christ Superstar"), which was also an album before it was a soundtrack ... or T ("Tommy"), or Q ("Quadrophenia") ???

I will run this round with just soundtracks next time, so I promise Help, Jesus Christ Superstar, Tommy, and Quadrophenia will count.

OK, fair enough .... but I just thought of another rather convoluted one ---- W ("Who's Next), which started off as a 'soundtrack' project by Pete Townshend called "LifeHouse", however the LifeHouse project (as a 'soundtrack') was abandoned as impractical at the time, and didn't actually materialize until decades later.

Hence, "Who's Next" is really a 'soundtrack' as originally concieved, but most of us have grown up with it as simply a 'damn good album'

Hootenany! Great album by a great band (the 'Mats are tied with Zeppelin for my all-time favorites). I also nominate "Hang Time" by Soul Asylum, their best album ever.

I have one I’ll bet most people have never heard of.
Highway Call, by the then Allman Brothers guitartist Dicky Betts.
Country album featuring other great artists such as Johnny Sandlin, The Rambos, Chuck Leavell and the legendary Vassar Clements.

I always liked Linda Ronstadt's Hasten Down The Wind, nice song on one of her best albums (when she was in her prime).

Since you're on the letter H it's worth noting that one of my favorite bands from long ago was America and that they had a series of albums that began with the letter H.

Their first album was self-titled, but included the hit song "Horse with No Name." (Later they released an album with several of their early songs called Horse with No Name.)

Then they came out with Homecoming, Hat Trick, Holiday, Hearts, History (greatest hits), Hideaway and Harbor.

Of those albums starting with H, I think my favorite is Homecoming.
