JL Am I a socialist because I live in a country where healthcare is free? Because if that makes me a socialist then socialist me up baby.
You get free food, medical procedures, and gym equipment in prison. But then you have to surrender a lot of freedoms to get it.
It is WRONG for these lazy SOBs to demand that I TOO live under it.
It is incompatible with the founding principles of this nation.
Two questions for our college educated president.
What is the underlying principle of Marxism?
How is this different from your plans?
Ann Coulter is great at it, as is Michelle Malkin. Michelle destroyed the nags on “The View” (I’m of course excluding Elizabeth Hasselbeck) the other day. If you haven’t seen the clip of her on the show, I suggest watching it.
Thought she was banned?
Nope. Even if she was, you never know when someone gets re-instated. Call a persons nick, ping them please.
I did on my response 2 u
Ninergold3, although your post defining socialism could have been more eloquently stated, this guy is proving your point.
These kids need to understand a few things about "Government Money:"
1. The government has no money of its own. Everything it has, it has to take from citizens and businesses in the form of taxes and fees.
2. The government can't give anything to anybody without first taking it from someone else.
3. The more things government gives away, the more it has to take from others.
4. Any money or service that government provides WILL come with strings attached.
Now, Mr. "Socialist me up" sounds like he's perfectly fine with points 1, 2, and 3. He doesn't care if the government takes money away from others as long as he gets the "free" health care.
He doesn't take into account, however, point number 4 and the control that the government now has over everyone's lifestyle now that they are footing the bill for health care coverage.
It would be bad enough if the government plan were just one plan among many. That way, if you decided that you didn't want to live by the government plan's rules, you could go elsewhere. But, Obama and the left want a "Single Payer" plan...they want to be the only game in town, and the plan being crafted in Congress right now does just that.
Lifestyle dictates, rationed care, etc.
"Socialist me up?"
No thanks.
