Looks like Bing pulled a Google today.
Of all the things to barf about you pick this?
It’s the anniversary of Hiroshima bombing...
uh... they were the AGGRESSORS? The Japanese started a war? We’re supposed to feel guilty because the US is evil...
Should we also mourn the Nazi dead? What lunacy. The Japanese still act like they are the victims. Asia, besides Japan, at least thinks differently.
You don’t understand the Japanese culture, this is not a symbol to make you feel guilty. Most Japanese understand the necessity of what happened as much as we do.
You’re reading into it something that’s not there. The deaths that day were tragic, regardless of whether or not it was necessary and who bears the blame, and it’s entirely appropriate to memorialize the lives lost. We can feel sorry without feeling guilty. Or at least, we SHOULD be able to. Seems most of the posters in this thread don’t have any difficulty in doing so.
I wouldn’t mourn Nazi dead, but I would mourn German civilian dead.
LOL, excellent.
I was going to say, “At least the OP got me to go to bing finally.”
Bing is markedly superior to Google for image and video searches. Otherwise, there’s not much difference between them.
Here’s what I sent to Bing
Your selection of an image of Hiroshima is in poor taste and shows bad judgement. Do you plan to show a photo of Pearl Harbor on December 7? Of the Twin Towers site on Sept 11? Of Normandy beach on June 6? The selection of this image, and not of the others mentioned, suggests that Bing has joined the chorus of idiots who want the United States to wear a permanent hair shirt for having saved the world from genocidal Fascism.
