Love this from Murtha:
The Journal reported that Rep. John Murtha (D.-Penn.), the chairman of the House panel that was seeking the aircraft order, said that if the Department of Defense decides it doesn't want to purchase the aircraft, "they will be eliminated from the bill."
What a gutless wonder. No wonder we are in such fiscal trouble with these idiots running things.

So first it was going to be a $250M order, then they doubled it to $500M, now thy are cutting it back to $400M and calling it a savings.
And they have to do it RIGHT NOW, when everyone is furious about the staggering amount of money they’re spending, and the deathcare bill they’re forcing on everyone EXCEPT themselves.
LOL, keep it up, geniuses.
The request went from $220 M to $550M and now its being “cut” to $440M??
Thats some cut from 220m to 440m
These $hitbag hypocrital politicians should tell us what kind of carbon footprint these jets leave while they debate the finer points of cap & trade.
Environmental Impact Statement?
I would rather see my tax dollars going to buying new jets then any of that bull that Nobama is pushing for...
“JUST SAY NO IN 2010”
TURN ALL THESE LOSERS OUT ON THEIR EARS - THEIR TIN EARS ANYWAY! THEY HAVE STOPPED LISTENING TO AMERICAN VOTERS,
SO IT IS TIME TO SHOW THEM THE DOOR!
He found out that he couldn’t fit one of the aircraft in his personal hanger.

You mean “criticism” works?
Let them fly coach.
“after Pentagon criticism”?
Try PUBLIC criticism!
This is called “Insane Congressional Mathematics” (”ICM”). For example, you make the cost insanely high, then have to “cut” it. Although insane, it makes you look good. You can also spend trillions of dollars trying to get your country out of debt. I am sure you see how ICM works.
Congress is insane!
