I'm attempting (projecting?) to think like a liberal Democrat.
This issue is as important to me as anyone but I'm still taking part in the whole political process on all the issues. I write to my elected idiots about any number of issues several times a week. I've attended tea parties and protests outside my congress coward's office within the past two weeks.
Same here. And thank you for taking an active part in fighting the evil currently residing in Congress and the White House!
The intention of my post was to attempt to explain what the 0bama handlers might be up to with regards to their typical devious manipulations of the 33% of the uninformed/ignorant populace, with the willing help of the state run media.
What amazes (and impresses) me is that we are having a great deal of success against such uneven odds.
The Dems are more organized and have more money (as usual) and still (finally!) they are losing the argument!
I had almost given up hope, and then I went to the Arlen Specter town hall meeting in Lebanon, PA!
Seeing all of those patriotic citizens off of their asses and in the streets was quite a shock!!
I once again have hope for my children's future!

I keep thinking of the naive and deceased Matthew Berg, who wandered around Iraq, in the hopes of establishing his start up communications business, only to fall into the hands of evil diseased terrorists who beheaded him. Berg was way over his head. Maybe con man Smith knew just enough to be dangerous, and made the trek to Kenya, with riches in his eyes, and completely out of his league, yet with the blind luck of a beginner stumbled head long into success.
