This is perhaps man's greatest achievement or evidence of our civilization's impending doom. Maybe it's both.
Meet the KFC "double down." Although no mention of it is made on KFC.com and we have never seen an ad for it ourselves, we are being lead to believe that it is real by Foodgeekery.com. They have crappy cell phone camera footage of a commercial (from Omaha, apparently) for the mysterious beast, as well as photographic evidence of it in the wild.
The sandwich consists of two fried chicken fillets wrapped around bacon, cheese and Colonel's sauce. It apparently tastes like you think it would. An early-adopter explains:
That's it? That is the sandwich? That's not worth five dollars. Oh
oh my God. That is the best thing ever. I don't know what "Colonel's Sauce" is, but it is like a party in my mouth. This is completely worth the five dollars. Unfortunately I'm going to end up weighing 700 lbs after this, but it is simply amazing.

I may have to try that.
Its better than using bread as fried chicken.
And given we're talking KFC, it's probably served at room temperature.
Now ya went and made me hungry!
Does it come with a beer?
This is a dream come true for us low carbers! I’ll take 2!
I know a guy who likes to custom order a "double-double" from Wendy's (imagine a Wendy's triple with one more patty + cheese).
So, the truth is likely "KFC will make a Bacon Sandwich...", rather than "...has a..."
Thanks for that. :-)
Heart Attack on a bun!
Yeah, it’s a number 17 and comes with a Grape Soda.
A good friend of my who is my age, just had a massive heart attack four weeks ago.
Guess, I’d pass on this heart in a box
Sounds good to me! Actually, I can’t stand KFC, but if I liked it, I’d like this; anything with bacon and cheese is OK.
There’s a place in CA that sells a burger wrapped in lettuce leaves. It’s pretty good, actually.
Might have to get one of those.
Much better idea than that “Bowl Meal” fiasco of a few years back
Guess, Id pass on this heart in a box
Make that: “heart attack in a box”

From the photos, the chicken looks breaded. The sauce probably probably contains some sugar variant as well.
