Zyemtsev and Kraft Take Louisville Title

Ukraine's Viktor Zyemtsev and Germany's Nina Kraft won today's third annual Ford Ironman Louisville Triathlon, both winning exciting duels during the marathon to run their way to the win. Both used the picture-perfect conditions to set course records: Zyemtsev crossed the finish line in first with an overall time of 8:25:27, while Kraft celebrated her first full-distance Ironman win since 2007 in a time of 9:20:21.

I am in Louisville currently visiting relatives. I just had to come while this race was on. Traffic was down to a standstill, and ambulances were screaming at the top of their lungs. They could not get to the bikers who had fallen from the heat and stress however. Local residents are pissed to say the least. First they ran through the streets of Louisville, then through the Ohio river, then they rode their bikes in the streets....all 3000 of them!!!!
