That’s probably what happened to my Hawkeyes when Hayden Fry took em to the Rose Bowl three times and lost every one of em.

Heck, since Bernie Bierman some say .. Mason had a shot at it there for a couple years..

Hey , if they can beat Michigan or Wisconsin once every 5 years I’m happy.. It’ll be a 50th year anniversary for the Gophers next year. ;-)

You no likea the Smurf Turf?

Oregon's uniforms are ugly enough by themselves. Put them next to the Blue Meanies on Smurf Turf and it's more than I can handle.

Hey, at Purdue prior to Tiller, our standard of success against Notre Dame was: hold ‘em under 50, and don’t get shut out....

Boise St. 19 Oregon 8 ... who watched it? A strange score for a strange game, capped off by a bizarre outburst at the end by Blount of Oregon. He was in some kind of tiff with a Boise player, and as Boise coaches pulled the Boise player away, Blount turned and cold-cocked him on the chin, actually knocking him out, by appearances. He collapsed to the ground, at any rate.

Then Blount responded to taunting by the fans on the way to the tunnel and was restrained by a number of staff, including a cop, I think. He had already been in trouble for “behavior”, and I predict his football career is over.

This was the first game for the Oregon coach, who had been offensive coordinator, with the former coach moving to athletic director. I don’t think it’s beyond imaging that he will resign or be fired, such was the fiasco. Oregon had no first downs in the first half, and then with that Blount thing at the end, it looks like a complete coaching breakdown to me.
