Women that have any kind of definition for me are a big no-no.
At least until I get into wicked shape.
Or just start by walking/then running or biking and lifting on your own. You'll get ripped quicker than you think.
Fitness is for all of us...it feels good and makes us healthy.
Classic trip-hop tune.
I’m not familiar with Crossfit. I do mostly Olympic lifts and parts of Olympic lifts as my training regimen.
Some of the technique used in that video looked quite good (the woman doing the snatch and press), others not so good (the woman near the beginning doing the pull-ups). But maybe I’m not familiar with the principles of Crossfit training, in which case I’d like to learn why it deviates from traditional technique.
It is used by Navy Seals/Marines/Rangers, et al and athletes from all sports.
Here’s a video of a crossfit chick doing overhead squats with her body weight on the barbell,115lbs. x 15 reps. Very impressive on a difficult movement. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjuULPqI-WY
OOps,my mistake, it;s 123 lbs.
Still...and incredible achievement!!!
And then some!!!
These women are doing some amazing things and I applaud them. But more than this, I appreciate and admire women whose workouts are practical in nature: the woman who has the strength and knowledge to run a post-hole digger, or put up a stud wall, or collect from a 1500-pound stallion. My women friends are too tired to go to the gym after a day of driving a tractor, cleaning stalls, baling hay, and breaking youngstock.
P.S.: And they’re hot, too.
I have one of these (obviously not a cat).

Think of the lowest point you’ve ever physically felt, then multiply that by 8 years. But I should be fixed up before December. Guys in NYC better watch out.
The crossfit system does work. I use it. The USMC uses it, specops use it.
