Unseeded Kim Clijsters has flourished since ending a two-year retirement earlier this summer. 10:59: The last game is a microcosm of this match. Wozniacki goes up love-30 but lets Clijsters back in to close out the match 7-5, 6-3. Well done, Kim, and welcome back.
10:52: Clijsters just nailed a backhand winner to get to game point and then a forehand winner to get to one game away. This is a brilliant run on her part, coming back after having a baby. If she pulls it off, shes the first mom-Grand Slam winner in nearly 30 years. 5-2, second set. Seemingly only a matter of time.
10:49: So, Caroline, what happened to the moonball? It was working, it really was, but we havent seen it since the first set. Bring back Andrea Jaeger, and you can get back into this match.
10:46: Does anyone know how to hit a forehand while doing a split the way Clijsters does?
10:44: Offseason regimen for Wozniacki: three hours of net play every day. She may be the least comfortable net player in a Grand Slam final (not including the French) ever.
