Gotta go do some yardwork, this is what I’m going to be cranking:
Ted can flat out play guitar
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the mighty USA.
Everywhere I run around they git out of my way.
Im American made, American born from my hands my flag will not be torn away.
Hey! I just finished mowing my back yard all the way down to the river. God Bless Texas!
Obammy just left Chicago - and he’s bound for New Orleans
Lita Ford is babeliciously rockin’ !
Hilarious! Found this once when looking for the real thing:
parsy, who probably kills a few threads too
Peter Wolf (of J. Geils) looks like he Must of Got Lost and wound up singing at a wedding reception. The shots of the audience are worth the watch.
I see your Flying Burrito Brothers and raise you a Gram Parsons:
Emmylou Harris does a nice cover of this one on her album Luxury Liner btw.
Raputa the Beauta!
That's excellent, just dripping with film noir kitsch!
Luckily, I got the original downloaded before it was pulled. Cagney was great but it was one of the reasons they passed the film decency laws. Original Shanghai Lil they were showing hookers in opium dens. Pretty steep for 1934.
parsy, who is glad you liked it
8/19/08 One year, one month, and one day ago....RIP saxophonist LeRoi Moore of The Dave Matthews Band....I would post something from the 2005 show mentioned above, but taping was not permitted at Farm Aid. One of the songs they sang was “Don’t Drink the Water”...here’s a great version from the Central Park show:
Billy Gibbons explains the origins of that crazy hat thing he wears nowadays:
That was great! Thank you.
The Association - Windy
The Firm — Satisfaction Guaranteed
This is a good amateur cover.
These guys are hilarious:
Love him or hate him...Jackson aside...this guy who performed and the guy who arranged all of the songs, did an awesome job!
“This Guy is amazing.
A Yale University junior is making a name for himself by honoring the legendary Michael Jackson. Along with a buddy from school he’s created a video that appears to be an a Capella group performing a Michael Jackson medley.
You might be impressed with the vocals and even more impressed with the magical editing. Turns out they’re all the same guy! Connecticut student Sam Tsui is wearing the same jeans and sneakers but 3 different shirts.
He’s singing all the parts and his classmate, Kurt Schneider, standing off to the side did all the fancy editing to form the make believe group paying tribute to Jackson.”
