In 1981, Pakistan was on the U.S. State Department's "no travel" list and Obama could not have used a US passport to travel to Pakistan.

There are darker ways he could have traveled to Pakistan than the one you mentioned... and easier ones. He could have traveled to another country that didn't have a problem with Pakistan and flown from there... Or he could have flown under a fake passport provided by people we don't want to know about ... Didn't Oswald fly to Russia? Not saying that what Obama did was illegal. It's unlikely... odd - if you pin it down - ping me.

No. Ship to LeHarve, France. Ferry to UK, where he states he will be staying a week before going to school in Switzerland. That afternoon he flew to Finland, where he applies to the Soviet consulate for a visa. A week later he enters Soviet Union by train.
