OMAHA, Neb. -- A Malvern, Iowa couple was charged with misdemeanor child neglect after police said they left their 4-month-old daughter in their car while they got drunk in a west Omaha bar.
Bryan and Tina Vannoy were booked into the Douglas County Corrections Center Friday night. They have since been released after posting bond. Police said their daughter is now in protective custody.
Investigators said employees at the Reel Martini Bar near 168th Street and West Dodge Road got suspicious when the mother brought a baby bottle inside the bar. A waitress at the bar told bartender Scott Villotta there was a baby left alone in a BMW parked outside in the parking lot.
I was like, you better be joking, Villotta said. Sure enough, I walked out and there was a baby in the back seat, windows rolled up, tinted windows and not parent in sight.

Just because they can afford a nice car, doesn't mean they are responsible parents.
Libertarians no doubt.
My father-in-law used to solve this problem by drinking in a bar with a playground next to it.
Which I doubt they (or you for that matter) really do...
Hey...dont tread on me! :/
Couldn’t find a babysitter? Well THAT explains it! If we’ve learned ANYTHING from the left over the years, it’s that NOBODY should have to put up with INCONVENIENCE!!
Well, the sign said NO MINORS. Duh!
Not all BMWs are nice cars. I have had 3 and all of them were old pieces of doodoo. (Of course we were military living in Germany and they were a dime a dozen.)
At least my parents had the decency to bring me into the bar.
Well good lord, you can’t take em inside the bar at that age!
At first glance I thought it said obama bar. Thank goodness.
Hysterical....!!!
