Sean Connery was long on the tooth in Diamonds Are Forever with Jill St. John who was somewhat long on the tooth too.

Dalton = nice guy - not a good Bond. Moore was almost as bad.

Timothy Dalton = Zzzzzzz...

OK in "The Living Daylights." Horrible (as was the whole production) in "License To Kill." Gladys Knight was the best part of that overwrought multi-million dollar episode of "Miami Vice."

No Casino Royale II on that one

I’ll have to check the several Bond folders at D and find some 007 pages with the .mp3s and .midis too

I have difficulty distinguishing Jill St. John, Eva Marie Saint, and Joan Van Ark. Then again, I am a wee lad of 33.

Madonna’s song was pretty close to Rita’s nightmare. What made it worse is they casted Madonna in the film which just about wrecked it.

They used a soft focus lens to hide her age. I was expecting Doris Day on screen. I think they used it on Doris to hide her freckles.

She was/is gross.

A pathetic attempt to recreate "Thumper" from "Diamonds Are Forever."

Actually “Licence to Kill” had elements of original Fleming writings including the novel “Live and Let Die” and the short story “Risco” in the movie.

Also the scene where Bond attempts to kill Sanchez with 25-220 camera gun is the described by Bond in the novel “Casino Royale” how Bond earn his first "0" by killing a Japanese Cipher clerk who worked at Rockerfeller Plaza.

I thought most of those were at the top of the D index.
Don’t know about your more recent pages though, haven’t seen them

They played fast and loose with Fleming’s original work. “Moonraker” was written about terrorists with an ICBM, and “Property of a Lady” supposedly led to “Octopussy.”

Rita’s was OK. It was Lulu’s “The Man With The Golden Gun” that was nightmare-inducing.
