I think that is Italy..They “dress” their buildings with flowers all over Europe. Charming.

Good Morning Mayor....
Oh how true this is! The older I grow, the more the hymns come alive to me. Often I can’t remember a scripture that I am looking for until a hymn with that verse comes melodically to mind!

“If you . . . know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! —Matthew 7:11”

Thank you so much for the beautiful devotional.

I wonder why they omitted the ...”being evil” IE

” 11. If you then,’being evil’, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”

Today much of the Bible is omitted or avoided in teachings as well as from the pulpits. Not good ... to censure God's word. MO.

"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.

Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Very clever opening for Wear Red FRiday! Normally I don't care for critters like this, but this guy is cute, in a buggy sorta way. LOL

Thank you, friends, for the birthday wishes sent via Amy's Place, FReepmail, email, snail-mail, facebook and twitter. I had a wonderful day....I felt tons of love from my wonderful family and friends!

I am going to spread my birthday celebration through the entire weekend. We are taking the 5th wheel to an RV resort in Bakersfield, meeting some friends from the coast and going to Buck Owen's Crystal Palace for dinner and dancing tomorrow night. I don't know who is playing there, but it doesn't matter, we will have fun. I've heard the food is wonderful too!

Thanks again for making me feel so special! Hugs all around!

Love this picture - I think that both Italy and Spain have a lot of the same ‘looks’ as far as the stucco, the arches, the wrought iron, and those wonderful colorful PLANTS in pots decorating their homes outside!

Good afternoon, Billie.
Thank you for today's cute Red Friday Opener.
I think that dragonfly is adorable. :^)

I've been to the school already today. LOL

When I closed the snack bar yesterday, there was no one around,
so I brought the receipts home with me.
I needed to get it counted and turned it for deposit.
When I got home, I had two loooooong phone calls from friends from hi school.
Don't they realize, I have work to do!!! LOL

Hope you are having a Fantastic Friday.

Thanks, Lori. I hate buggy looking critters like that, too. Dragonflies are really, really ugly creatures! Amy is always on the lookout (as I am) for 'red' graphics, and that red bug was among a group she sent me not long ago. I was sure there was no way I could be inspired to make something with 'that'! But caved, and figured the sunburn angle could work. :)

Well I think he is cute .... in a critter kind of way.

When I was a kid, we would catch dragonflies .... they are fast little things!!!

Thank You, Billie and GeeBee

My graphic is an old favorite.
I once had a beautiful red dragonfly spend quite a while
"inspecting" my sliding door
Fun opening for Friday, Billie.
