A BRITISH government minister has asked California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to shut down a website that allows men to rate prostitutes, including many working in London. Harriet Harman, minister for women and equality, told the ruling Labor Party's annual conference that "Punternet" fuels the demand for prostitution - a vice she said degrades women and puts them at risk. She said the web site was a "very sinister development" in the trade and exploitation of women and allows guests to compare and rate services in the same way as they would a restaurant, a hotel or a holiday. Pimps put women on sale for sex on the site then clients offered their comments on line, she said. "Punternet has pages and pages of women for sale in London," said Ms Harman, who is deputy leader of Prime Minister Gordon Brown's Labor Party. She said she had raised the issue with the US ambassador and asked California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to close it down as it is based in that state. "Surely it can't be too difficult for 'The Terminator' to terminate Punternet and that's what I am demanding that he does......"

Give credit where it is due. At least Punternet does for those who have to pay for sex what Angie’s List does for those who have to pay for home repairs.
In brief, Punternet keeps Johns from getting screwed.

Someone should enlighten the imperious Ms. Harman that American governors are not self appointed nobility and actually have to have a legal reason for doing something like this.
Lots of people believe it should be illegal, but at the moment the SCOTUS doesn't agree, and Mr. Terminator can't do anything.
Maybe the sniffly woman in London could do something about jobs and families for women in her city so they wouldn't have to resort to selling themselves. Seems to me that the Labour Party has pretty much been at war with the British people for about a century now, so it isn't real surprising that they're broke and have to do things they don't want to.
You ever notice that when the local tv does it’s john/hooker line-up that the women are so ugly that they would have to PAY ME to have sex with them?
Arnold should take down this website, right after the Brits shut down islamic extremism within Britain.
