Chris Evert and Greg Norman have separated after 15 months of marriage, reps for the couple confirm to PEOPLE.
"Chris and Greg will remain friends and supportive of one another's family," Evert's rep, Tammy Starr, told PEOPLE Friday. Norman's rep also confirmed the split.
The tennis champ and golf legend, both 54, tied the knot in a sunset ceremony in the Bahamas on June 28, 2008 and got engaged in December 2007 in South Africa.

He was and still is a very good golfer. Almost won the British Open in 2008 except Padraig played great.
Neither one of them are very pleasant people. She came off as a cold witch when follow him around after marriage. Maybe she was jealous of the limelight. He was a skirt chaser and always somewhat unpleasant. People said Faldo was cold and aloof but a lot of people like him now. They had great battles.
Hubby and I had #48 in June and we are looking forward to the big 5 0

Wow, that’s too bad, they seemed to be crazy about each other, she even caddied for him at the Par-3 Masters tourney, and he credited her with his inspiration for playing so great at the British Open last year.
Usually the first 6-12 months are blissful, too bad, they seemed like a good couple.
