Film crews for the 'Red Dawn' remake were in downtown Detroit yesterday, filming an explosion scene.

I love the original movie, stilted uncomfortable dialog and all. I fear for the remake. I'm certain the crazy leftist mindset (genuinely absent from the original) will end up oozing out around the corners at least.
