Freeze warning issued for southeast Wisconsin
By Mike Johnson of the Journal Sentinel
Posted: Oct. 10, 2009
The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for all of southeastern Wisconsin from 10 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday.
Temperatures will fall into the 20s and end the growing season for 2009, the weather service said, noting that any sensitive outdoor plants left uncovered will perish.
West winds are ushering in a polar air mass and delivering unseasonably cold air.
Michael Fish, meteorologist for WTMJ-TV, Channel 4, says that overnight lows will be the mid- to upper-twenties in most places.
On Sunday, temperatures will only reach the upper 40s.
There is a chance for a light shower or flurry Sunday night with lows overnight in the low- to mid-30s.

Global warming makes it hot.
Global warming causes a new ice age.
Global warming causes drought.
Global warming causes floods.
All hail the new God of the Left. Before long they will have us sacrificing virgins. No joke.

There is snow in the forecast for southern New Hampshire later this week. The earliest I ever recall seeing snow here was on Halloween (twice, actually, and both within the past five years). Hmmm... could this be the beginning of a trend? Seems like that “hockey stick” was pointed in the wrong direction.

It was 33 degrees here at 7am, which is not terribly unusual, but the really cold air is not supposed to get here until mid-week. I was out taking foliage pictures early today - the colors are great this year:
Here's one.

We had a nice inch of snow yesterday morning some still on the ground today. A very nice 20 this morning.

Of course this early freeze is just another sign of disastrous global warming as the arctic is turning into the tropics the cold has to go someplace and just picked southeastern Wisconsin. St Algore tells us that any day now Canada will have a climate like Florida and the warmer areas will all be deserts (sarcasm)

I don’t know what the temp was yesterday in Texas but we sat all bundled up in jackets and blankets on aluminum bleachers for 5 hours freezing our behinds off.

I just love the warmers. The more proof they are full of it emerges, the louder they scream “We are doomed”. Gotta love ‘em.
