Colts vs Titans - Live Thread
NBC Sports - Sunday Night Football ^ | 10/11/09 | NFL football

Peyton Manning leading the "hot" Colts against the Titans, who are 0-4 so far this season.

Another fun game maybe - any other Colts (or Titans) fans out there?

Usually a good game... we shall see. Significant other is enjoying the game live at LP field tonight with his son.

Lets see if Payton can outscore his brother. 28 in one half of play IIRC...

So who is good for the Titans? Have not watched them this year. (am in NC, somewhat follow the Panthers - who actually won today, but the Colts are my Fav)

Yeah — Brady got rattled and choked.

If a team can get inside his head, they can beat him.

The Titans get the first first down.

Kerry Collins used to play for the Panthers....evidently he did well last year after Vince Young was injured and he replaced him.

I watched Cincinnati vs Baltimore.

The Bengals are a legit Super Bowl contender this year.

I didn’t catch that game. I refuse to watch the Redskins or the Ravens. Stuck in Virginia so those teams are always being shown over good games.

They barely beat my Browns.

I don't think the Browns could beat Ohio State, LOL.

22 yards passing TOTAL today.

My husband and son are at the game. My 12 yr. old son is a HUGE TN Titans fan and has been having a bummer of a season. He has so many different Titans jerseys in his closet that I have taken to hanging them in numerical order. He has many others too, including Peyton & Eli . . . I was teasing him before they left that he should wear his Peyton Jersey underneath his Chris Johnson jersey and IF/WHEN the Titans started to lose, he could take off the Titans jersey . . . LOL

He didn’t think it was very funny. I’m at home watching and recording it on the DVR so he can re-watch (maybe) tomorrow after school.

Glad they can get to watch it in person.

The Titans had a great year last year so your son must have enjoyed it a lot....this year, not so good.

OOOPS - Titans just recovered a fumble - he will be jumping for joy!

Yep, the past few Sunday’s I’ve been preaching how you must stick with them for both good & bad years but at 12 and an avid fan it is tough for him.

Well - the Titans get on the board!

Am glad you are teaching your son to stay faithful to his team no matter what....but am glad he likes Peyton Manning too.

I live in NC and follow the Panthers but have been a Colts fan through thick and thin since, um, many many years ago (Unitas days). It was tough some of those thin years but since Manning joined the Colts - well - it’s just been fun again to be a Colts fan!

I don’t know what has happened to them.

After that last play, I bet Steven was wishing he’d worn his Bullock jersey. I think poor ole Dad has an OLD #27 Eddie George jersey on tonight.

Steven’s first game, geez back in maybe 2003 or 2004, the Titans were playing the Texans . . . we were staying at the Opryland Hotel & it was in December with daughters dance workshop and the Rockettes . . . I offers to cut his Steve McNair and his David Carr jerseys in half and re-sew half of each of them together . . . . I told him for sure you will get on TV with that . . . but he said no and I was glad because I hated to cut in half two 50.00 jerseys. LOL

I love Peyton too, and Eli. They are great and I found him some matted prints one of each with them as MVP the years they won the Super Bowl in a frame together. Love ‘em both~! I think the little gold plate at the bottom was “A Manning Tradition” or something like that . . . also bought him one for the Cowboys with Romo & Aikman . . . separate matted but same frame . . . and little gold plate was “Now & Then”.

He is on his second Peyton jersey, outgrew the first one. :)
