Judge Carter was supposed to rule by thursday last week about the case moving forward or not based on the motion to dismiss filed by Obama's attorneys.
Why no update. Does anybody know or have information?
I thought it was by the end of the week. And Monday was Columbus Day, so the court was likely closed.
There was a thread here a few days ago to the effect that he backtracked at great speed and is now following the same “standing to sue” line as all the other judges.
Well, looks like Gary Kreep and Alan Keyes went ahead and booked a cruise during the final pre-conference date so they don't appear too optimistic about spending much more time in a courtroom over this.
Birther Cruise '10!
Well, I understand, he hasn’t actually backtracked.
It’s just that the questions he was asking in the hearing last Monday were concerning, and the fear is that he may backtrack.
Oh, I'd love to go! I'd get so drunk! Not just drunk but "peeing in the closet" drunk! Yeah, it'd be a blast!
Sign me up!
Where did you find out about that cruise with Alan Keyes?
Does the ship sail through all the states that Keyes has claimed residency so that he could run for office?
He called me this morning and said he is going to hear the case and will announce it on Wednesday of this week. He’s coming over for a cook-out this weekend. ;)
If he backtracked, he would have announced his decision by now. He’s researching is my guess.
According to who? Certainly not Judge Carter.
