SEATTLE - This goes beyond sibling rivalry: 23-year-old Tara and Tracy Turnure are the only twins to be crowned back-to-back Miss Washington USA.
Their accomplishment might even be a first in the country.
"I was crowned Miss Washington USA 2010. I got crowned by my twin sister Tara Turnure. It was just surreal," said the new Miss Washington USA, Tracy Turnure.
Tara was the reigning Miss Washington USA. Shes on her first day of retirement, handing the crown to her twin sister Tracy.
They believe this is a first in pageant history.

That’s quite a pair...shouldn’t there be more PICTURES?
The other one wanted to drive
My daughter had identical twin girls in July.
Being a grandparent is even better than advertised.
Well, helloooooooooooooooo miss NY...
I thought the Twins just lost?
I can see why the judges would be satisfied with a rerun....
Those twins are lovely, too...
They are just as hot....
Thanks to AZ .44 MAG for the heads up.
To be on or off the Hottie Ping List please FReepmail me.
What a nice story. It’s nice to hear some good news from a pageant, rather than b**ching about how a contestant is not on board with the gay agenda.
One might say they look good enough to Turnure head...
Thanks. I can use this in the morning when I am working out.
“Thanks. I can use this in the morning when I am working out.”
What, exactly, is your workout?
Stair master 45 minutes and then abs and weights.
It was more a “funny” comment re: how one could utilize a photo in a workout.
FWIW, I am a former pro athlete (NFL). I would strongly recommend against your workout set up.
I would do a solid hour of freeweights at a very quick pace -— big movements -— squats, deadlifts, press, etc, and not do cardio.
Do intense cardio or steady-state on your off days. Even better would be to go jog around a track for a mile, then do interval sprints. You’ll burn much more fat.
Low insensity cardo (i.e., a stairmaster that leaves you enough juice to do weights afterwords) does burn calories, but there is little “carry over” -— that is, burning of calories the rest of the day from the exercise.
If you insist on doing both weights and cardio on the same day, do your weights first, have a little -— very little -— juice after the weights (stops catabolism of muscle) and THEN do your stairmaster. You’ll burn much more fat that way.
FWIW, I am 50 years old, can bench press 2X my weight ten times, can easily do 20 clean pull ups, squat well over 500 lbs, ass to the ground, and finished several Iron Man races in the top 10 of my age group -— and I don’t really jog or ride my bike all that much (although I do swim, as that is a learned skill). I know of what I speak.
Hiking and snowboarding are my primary sports. Some Tae Kwon Do from time to time.
I don't really lift too many weights. Bursitis, both shoulders and for my 46th birthday tendonitis, left elbow. Yeah!
I have strong back, biceps and pulling muscles.
Core is solid as ever, just covered with some jiggly stuff.
More of my work is cross training and just what interest me for the day or week.
I can try your workout sometime for 6-8 weeks.

Never could hear the audibles.
I have cousins who are twins. One was left back a year in school so they wouldn’t have to compete against each other for the same scholarships one would invariably win. They all won the same scholarships, although one graduated a year before the other.
Thought you were a Mason.
Jubalum is part of Masonic lore
sorry, to clarify, Keith 182 Texas is my lodge, in Gilroy, CA
LOL. I was taking as an “audible” as in football.
I am, indeed, a mason, last of Hobbs #63 NM, although basically inactive.
Congratulations! Twins are just so much fun!
(we had twin boys 25 years ago and they are still a hoot)
So taken and accepted. LOL
So my workout today consisted of 45 minutes of Stairmaster, 10 minutes of rope, tons of stomach and back.
Tomorrow I will do 30 minutes of stairmaster and light chest, shoulder and tri’s. My elbow hurts, wear you bend, at the top of the forearm and bottom of bicep. kind of like a burning sensation. Weird. Been using “Freeze It” and Ibuprofen. Seems to help.
The rest is joint pain that should subside in time and feels sore more than previous injuries.
Friend suggested glucosome.
“light chest, shoulder and tris. My elbow hurts, wear you bend, at the top of the forearm and bottom of bicep. kind of like a burning sensation.”
You hurt because you have a muscle imbalance (like most lifters), favoring pressing exercises.
Stop all presses for a while, except push ups at varying widths. (Push ups will engage back muscles. Presses against a bench do not.)
Do deadlifts and chin ups.
Pull downs are not the same a chin ups. If you can’t do chin ups, use the weight-assisted chin up station.
If you are not comfortable using a bar to do deadlifts, use dumbells. Don’t lose the arc of your back (look in the mirror like you want to read your t-shirt). If you lose the arc, you will screw up your back royally.
Got all that. Sounds like a great plan for overall strength and major muscle groups.
I will try that in the morning and looks like a good change up that still works everything.
