Moose being 'contained' in Fargo hotel

A moose is squirreled away at a Fargo hotel this morning, and authorities are asking the public to stay out of the area.
The animal is "contained on the property" of the Mainstay Suites at 1901 44th St. S., according to an e-mail report from Fargo Police Sgt. Jeff Skuza.
The moose is showing "no sign of trying to leave as we work to resolve the situation," Skuza added.
The sergeant said that the species' "size and temperament make them a significant public safety risk in an urban setting."

Rocky and Bullwinkle were my favorite cartoon characters. I never considered the fact that a moose can weight close to a ton and squirrel less than 8 ounces, yet they appear to be comparably sized for the screen. Ah the magic of animation and the gullability of children.
