Conservative Wall Street Journal Is Now Nation's Top Selling Paper

Congratulations to the staff of The Wall Street Journal! Despite the national trend, the WSJ continues to gain circulation.

Americans don't like being lied to. Reporting the truth without the liberal spin has paid off for the Journal.

As the state-run media continues to lose viewers and readers due to their biased and inaccurate reporting the Wall Street Journal is now the top-cirulating newspaper in the United States.

WSJ, Rush, Glenn Beck, FoxNews ...

The MSM tells me that these are all rightwing extremist nutjobs, but somehow they seem to find an audience in this land where everyone worships Obama. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Alas, only the editorial pages are conservative. The news sections are almost as lefty as the NYT.

Indeed. Let’s make the headline:

As people who still enjoy newspapers continue to dump the leftist rags that tell them every day how they need to pay more taxes, they look to other newspapers to fill the void. May as well be the Wall Street Journal. (I still pick up the NY Post during my daily travels, though.)

Alas, only the editorial pages are conservative. The news sections are almost as lefty as the NYT.

A conservative think tank did an analysis of Journal news stories and concluded that on the whole they were further left than Times stories. The Journal has traditionally had a conservative editorial bent, because the former owners made sure to hang on to that section in particular, but I expect that will change as it is gradually folded into the Murdoch news empire (which recently purchased it) and its liberal journalists begin to move up on to the editorial desk.

Absolutely.

I started reading the WSJ in 1980 and have read it near daily since then. About 6 months ago I got sick of it and do not read much but the editorials.

It is very biased.

It used to be the Times. Then it was Gannett’s ungodly USAToday. Both worthless lib rags.

The times are a’changin’.
