Book: 'You are the worst man in history'

LONDON -- Many prehistoric Australian aboriginals could have outrun world 100- and 200-meter record-holder Usain Bolt in modern conditions.
Some Tutsi men in Rwanda exceeded the current world high jump record of 2.45 meters during initiation ceremonies in which they had to jump at least their own height to progress to manhood.
Any Neanderthal woman could have beaten former bodybuilder and current California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger in an arm wrestle.
These and other eye-catching claims are detailed in a book by Australian anthropologist Peter McAllister entitled "Manthropology" and provocatively sub-titled "The Science of the Inadequate Modern Male".
"If you're reading this then you -- or the male you have bought it for -- are the worst man in history," McAllister writes in the opening sentence of the prologue. "No ifs, no buts -- the worst man, period. ... As a class we are in fact the sorriest cohort of masculine Homo sapiens to ever walk the planet."
Delving into a wide range of source material McAllister finds evidence he believes proves that modern man is inferior to his predecessors in, among other fields, the basic Olympic athletics disciplines of running and jumping.

Blah blah blah....I could high jump 6’ 6” In High school, while standing just under 5’. I could grab rim and I am white. Of course an animal like what is called a Neanderthal woman could out arm wrestle Ahnold. Chimpanzees are many times stronger than the strongest man, it is the way they are built.

You can always find animals that are stronger, faster and tougher than any man alive today. The strength with humans has always been our brains, that have allowed us to develop tools that mean we don’t have to be physically stronger, faster or tougher than all the other animals. That’s why humans rule the earth and other animals don’t.
Its also why being big, strong and tough within the small pond of humanity doesn’t mean they’re going to be the most successful at life compared to the pencil-necked geek who was always better at school than they were....
To: Daffynition
The weakest men in history are probably those of the last 40 years...purely because so many of them spent their lives sitting behind desks and never did any physical exercise.
But things are changing.
Folks still sit behind desks but now the gyms are packed. I moved to a small town in 2001 (having spent my career in NYC and a few other cities where people exercise)...and when I arrived there was only one gym and it was empty. Now there are 5 gyms and they are packed from 6:30 am until 9:00 pm. At my gym, there is even a long waiting list for the spin classes.
Many of the folks at the various gyms are heart patients who have been sent there by the docs and some are even morbidly obese.
But they are getting with the program and getting fit.
Very uplifting!

The gyms are packed with guys with huge arms and even huger guts. They look ridiculous. Working on your bicep? What a waste of energy.

worth repeating: Thats why humans rule the earth and other animals dont.

While some old fashioned gyms may specialize in body-building (which is not exactly about fitness), working out in most gyms is not done for appearance but for health and a sense of well-being (however fitness does definitely improve appearance).
And so what if a man or woman working out has a gut...at least they're trying to do something about and not just complaining as you are.
It is never a waste of energy if done right and for the right reason.
That said, exercise doesn't have to be done in a gym. The great outdoors is loaded with opportunities for movement, exercise and healthy living.
Here's a great site for folks who enjoy getting healthier and stronger...BTW Crossfit.com.
Crossfit has been adopted as part of the PT effort of the USMC, Navy SEAL's, and US Army.

Who gives a flying you know what about a bunch of gym faggots? I’ve been working out steadily since I was 15- I don’t need to make a big show of it.

These and other eye-catching claims are detailed in a book by Australian anthropologist Peter McAllister entitled "Manthropology" and provocatively sub-titled "The Science of the Inadequate Modern Male".
Most desk-bound males are of average intelligence, capable of reading, walking -- at least to a refrigerator and lifting 20 pounds. These abilities are sufficient to overcome knuckle-draggers living in a pristine would-be-world, who are idolized in the story above. Even aging, fat, unathletic cubicle bound males would be able to "overcome" their braichiating yester-year counterparts and do so at several hundred yards.
An inexpensive metal lathe can be purchased for less than $1000.00 US. A fluted gun drill can be purchased for $150.00. 22 inches of Cro-Moly 4045 barrel steel can be purchased easily or hardened axle rod steel purchased from a junkyard could be used in a pinch. Lathe milling attachment plans can be Googled and other rifle parts can be easily manufactured by hand. Parts made and assembled along with ammo would be game, set and match.
All in all, troglodytes from our past as described above wouldn't stand a chance against modern man.

Ludicrous.
Human beings have never been as healthy, tall, well nourished, and as intelligent as today (intelligence is correlated with height, nourishment and health).
Human size and health did ‘take a hit’ from our early hunter gatherer fore-bearers, when they became civilized and started city living that was rife with food deprivation and rampant disease - but 1000 city folk can and did hunt down and kill those 100 healthy hunter gatherers that the same region would support - so hunting/gathering went the way of the dodo for most human societies.
But the food deprivation and rampant diseases of city living have largely been eliminated in modern nations.
The “giant” Vikings were shorter than your average American male. I am 6'3” and would have been a “giant” back in the Middle Ages.

Gym faggots? I'll be going back to the gym shortly, early AM is mostly middle-aged folks, though usually on Sat afternoons many seniors come in. I'll have to take a closer look at the 70 - 80 year olds who use the treadmills and work out on the machines to see if they show any signs of being queers. LOL
Of course there also are young men and women working out there. But I'd reckon the % that might be gay is about the same for PhotoShop buffs.
You're very good at altering images, Roscoe, too bad you're a complete arse and more than likely flabby and weak.
