Here is video from the Rachel Maddow show where she played audio of former President George H. W. Bush on CBS Radio calling Maddow and Keith Olbermann "a couple of sick puppies" for their vicious attacks against his son - George W. Bush - and others who do not agree with their point of view.

Maddow then talks with Olbermann by phone and they essentially say they can't imagine why he would say such a thing! George H. W. Bush is right on target, and good for him that he said so! . . . . (VIDEO)

go to 5 mins and couldn’t stomach it anymore.

She has no idea, well there it is.

She still does not get why people think she is one sick puppy and is is he.

Here’s a question for you two.

Why do you suppose hardly anyone watches you?
Do you not even register it that you have done nothing but false report and act like little kids on a playground?

Maybe one day you two could grow up and realise that your actions are pathetic .

You can’t miss the glee from both Maddow and Olbermann. AT LAST, SOME RECOGNITION!

I agree with the President. Both Maddow and Olberman seem to be obsessed with "getting" those who they disagree with.

They seem to spend their entire existence finding or making up bad things to present about people like Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman, Rush, Hannity, ...

But they never really succeed in "getting" them. So they continue, day after day, night after night.

Sure sounds like a sick way to spend one's life.

Bush 41 is a class act.

Bush 41 would have not said this without any reason.

I would be embarrassed to put on a show like Keith Olbermann does every weeknight.

God bless President Bush 41.

Interestingly, everybody usually focus on Olberfuhrer, and with merit. However, Maddow is just as vile and uses the ad hominem just as intensely, but she puts on a little smile as she does it...sort of a political courtsy...which is funny in itself.

41 was so both full of himself and scared. He had the opportunity, after Gulf War 1, to take domestic social programs from the democrats and just sat there.

Had he used his very large political capital gained after winning in Iraq, he could have instituted some very minor changes in domestic policy that would have enable him to gain another 4 years.

He squandered it. He should have conservatively pointed to his successes international to remind people that he was a man who got stuff done.

Oh well, we endured peccadillo’s for the next 8 years. And got stuck with a President who co-opted Welfare Reform and a few other changes.

Thanks GW

[”a couple of sick puppies”]

Of course, he’s right but I’m one puppy who felt a little sick when I saw him cozy up to obama yesterday.

Bingo!

Poor choice of words by 41, he should have said a couple of rabid, brain-diseased puking insane sewer rats.

Which might be an insult to sewer rats.

They are sick puppies.

All that smug giggling they did talking about “teabagging” and the “teabaggers.”

Everytime they said it, it seemed to give them a real thrill. What gross juveniles!
