3:59 p.m.: We're about 15 minutes from kickoff here at Gillette Stadium, and the grounds crew is shoveling snow off of the field. It's been snowing pretty hard here for about an hour.

If you get the AFL late-game, turn on CBS. The field is absolutely covered with the snow fall being described as "heavy" for the last hour.

Sounds like Global Warming needs a stimulus, Congress needs to pass a bill, or something. Or, at the most if it snowed and wasn’t suppose to, it is George W. Bush’s fault, just mopping up problems caused by other administrations.

Phill Simms just said, “It is incredible; We’re just in October. What’s it going to be like in December?” And, this was said whilst the network was playing “Winter Wonderland” in the background.

Who woke up Maroney?
He's probably following the media coverage here in NE where they are trashing him lately.

I love watching football in the snow.

"How old are you? 90? Did you watch the Heidi game?" Actually, I did watch the "Heidi Bowl" live. Back then, that's all anyone watched at 6:30 on Sunday.
But, this game more closely resembles the 2002 playoff game where the Pats cleared the field of snow for Vinatieri .

I love watching football in the snow.
I love watching and listening to Gil and Gino on the radio, but the radio broadcast is about 10 seconds behind today.
How hard can it be to synchronize the radio broadcast with the TV broadcast?

It’s in the 100’s here in the Phoenix area. I’ll take in between the two. All this Climate change makes one dizzy. My house holds in too much heat. I can’t turn my a/c at night or I’ll get too hot.
To: OldDeckHand
Brady is 11-12 for 181 yds and 2 TDs halfway through the 2nd quarter. Not too shabby.

Reason I asked is because you mentioned the “AFL” game.

"
All this Climate change makes one dizzy" 100 degrees in Phoenix in October is not climate change! - Its climate stagnation.

"Reason I asked is because you mentioned the AFL game." LOL - I didn't even catch that. I suspect that a LOT of people who were fans before 1970, still call it the AFL and not the AFC, especially when you have those two throwback uniforms on the field - The Boston Patriots and the Houston Oilers.

Do you think that Fisher is out as head coach after this season??They were speculating about his job when they started 0-5 a couple years ago, but the team turned it around. I think this team has so many problems right now that I don't think they will recover. Dropped passes, inopportune penalties, blown coverages are coach's issues. I hope Fisher isn't out because I do think he's a great coach; however, if the Titans end up any worse than 6-10 I think he will be out.

So, I’m watching the Titans-New England game in the Norfolk, VA area, and the local affiliate changes it to the Jets-Bills game after the score becomes 52-0... P’ss’d me off... The only upside was that the Bills finally won.

"I refuse to believe that the Lions will win more games than the Titans this year." With Stafford's knee injury, there's a decent chance the Lions won't win another game. I think the Titans still have the Raiders on their schedule, so that should help.

My wife is beginning to not hate Brady quite so much this year. We Tivoed the game while my wife was at Roche Brothers and started watching about half time. Only I cheated and watched the first half twice. I never let on. If only life were always like this.
Too bad they couldn’t keep and the extra 58 points in the bank for when they need it. They might go deep in the play-offs if it’s a snowy December and they play at home.
