The One had teleprompter problems again yesterday in Cambridge. What a bad, bad, joke of a President! There, I said it, and could say worse, but don't want to get banned...
A "compromise" may be in the works involving a healthcare "trigger"....
NY 23rds Cong District is gaining national attention for its upcoming special election...a 3 way race between a lib R, a lib D, and a conservative independent...Many, many grassroots conservatives,Sarah Palin, Fred Thompson, blogs, and magazines like NR ...have endorsed the newcomer conservative, Doug Hoffman, while mainstream Rs like the local party there, and Gingrich are pushing the lib R.
Yesterday afternoon, I got quite a needed laugh watching Neil Cavuto's coverage of the Senate's closed door behind which negotiations were taking place, and the guy speedreading the Senate finance bill, I think it was.
Cavuto just cracks me up when I get a chance to see him. Thank God for laughs these days....
NEWS: My son and his family are heading to Chicago this afternoon because tomorrow my granddaughter will participate in the second round of interviews and eliminations for Kid's Jeopardy! She made the first cut and so the trip up north. We are so excited!
It's hard not to hope she makes it and wins a college scholarship, but we are trying to take into account that she might get nervous, part of it is an interview and she might not feel like talking, and also she is a platinum blonde with pale brows and lashes so might wash out on TV. So I am trying hard not to get my hopes up, but gosh darn it it is so exciting!
That is all we talk about (almost) in this family looking for something connecting BamBam to the anti-christ. This is more serious than we all know and our country will be changed forever, ulsess we are destroyed. Prayers for this counry and for us and pray for help for God.

Very good! Yes, I’ve noticed that concern too...heard it expressed on the radio and personally in comments to me. I’m engaging more and more friends in these conversations...the latest at chorus rehearsal the other night: I broached the health care “reform” deal, and my friend agreed completely with my concern and scepticism!

My Cousin has been working for 3 years attempting to verify a definite link to a Revolutionary War Patriot so she can join the DAR. Everytime I’d talk to her she’d tell me this tale of woe about how she’s spending all this time and coming up empty handed. She was wanting to membership to qualify her Granddaughter for competition for a very generous college scholarship in VA.
So,,,,,,,,, last Tuesday, after meeting a friend of mine for coffee and looking at the information she was able to obtain using Ancestory.Com, I came home and purchased one month’s access! I was able to find several Revolutionary War Patriot for our family using a different line than my cousin had been searching.
When my friend sent the info to the Nat’l office on Thursday they responded there are 3 positive matches. I think I’ve found 2 more.
My cousin is annoyed. Go figure.
We live a little over an hour away in Central NY.

IG, I will not violate my cardinal rule of not interfering in things my kids are doing.
Besides, I used up my interfering allotment for the next year lobbying for them to go up to Chicago tonight rather than trying to drive up in the morning. I am not doing anything else.
Besides, my DIL is capable of doing what’s best. I think she had her out shopping last week for appropriate clothing.
That child is actually genius material, very high IQ. She is taking piano and the violin and is super good at both. Straight A’s every grading period. And she is a really sweet girl, too.
Anything he does should be suspicious. There must be a motive because he certainly isn't declaring out of concern for people. What's in it for him? Healthcare reform passage!
