A very good point. Maybe someone should do a select poll of every congressman and Senator to see if they still use cells or allow members of their family to use them. And, if not, why are they not going on the House or Senate floor and telling America about the situation.

If you know, give me a ring on my cell.

How many years have they been crying this? At least 20 as I recall.

Sounds more to me that along with regulating our self defense, transportation, food supply and nearly every other aspect of our lives, big government is prepared to curtail free communication as well.

Exactly. This is just a plot for more government regulation. The idiots falling for this probably believed in global warming at one time, too.

LOL

That's what I tell my kids when they chide me about never using mine.

I tell them really important folks have "people" to take care of that stuff.

The example I use is Roger Penske at the Indianapolis Speedway. You never see him talking on a cell phone.

Best to check your sources before freaking out. The World Health Organization is a fraud, always has been. Anything "discovered" by them can be safely ignored.

LONG-term mobile phone users could face a higher risk of developing cancer in later life, according to a decade-long study.

The report, to be published later this year, has reportedly found that heavy mobile use is linked to brain tumours.

The survey of 12,800 people in 13 countries has been overseen by the World Health Organisation.

The government will ban cell phones for our own good. Won’t that be great. They tried with cigarettes. It’s up to us what we want.

I hope you guys are right and this is just a gov attempt to stop communication. That’s the best case scenerio. If it’s true, like one poster on the linked story implies, the eventual legal case on this against the cell phone companies will make the case against cigarettes look like a fender bender.

I think they will put a "health tax" on them to make us pay for the medical care of those who get the tumors.

Cell Phones for the Needy
unknown

Posted on Saturday, October 24, 2009 10:00:25 AM by ladyL

I had a former employee call me earlier today inquiring about a job, and at the end of the conversation he gave me his phone number. I asked the former employee if this was a new cell phone number and he told me yes this was his “Obama phone.” I asked him what an “Obama phone” was and he went on to say that welfare recipients are now eligible to receive (1) a FREE new phone and (2) approx 70 minutes of FREE minutes every month. I was a little skeptical so I Googled it and low and behold he was telling the truth. TAX PAYER MONEY IS BEING REDISTRIBUTED TO WELFARE RECIPIENTS FOR FREE CELL PHONES. This program was started earlier this year. Enough is enough, the ship is sinking and it’s sinking fast. The very foundations that this country was built on are being shaken. The age old concepts of God, family, and hard work have flown out the window and are being replaced with “Hope and Change” and “Change we can believe in.” You can click on the link below to read more about the “Obama phone”…just have a barf bag ready.

why would they need a cell phone...some of us can’t and don’t have to have them???? ....what next??? Getting rid of the homeles and needy by 0Bamma?

This story comes up every year more lawyers trying to find a case and people to sue. The fact is to normal people there is no problem. Cancer has been found in the temple lobe and on the hip area of those with existing cancer or, problems with a deficient P25 gnome. A cancer that is inherited.

“A cell phone bit my sister.”

Over the years there have been hundreds of studies that have found no ill effects from cell-phone use, but their use may indeed increase the risk of certain kinds of brain cancers.

On the other hand, congress is surely the wrong place to find the answer. By and large, its members (mostly lawyers) are scientific ignoramuses. Because WHO told them so, they’re probably in a panic over their cell-phone use.
