VirtualBox which allows me to run Linux, which is also free, and is the best dang free utility program out there. :-)

Don’t really understand how a ZIP program can distinguish itself.

It handles archive formats that Windows can't understand. Otherwise, it's small, fast and fairly usable compared to the others.

I also like 7zip.

Another one which I've found kinda handy is this little recipe, though technically, it's not "a" program.

I’ve spent the last 20 years learning Microsoft Access

If you have that much experience with databases you might look into some of the OODBs used in web and network apps. MySQL is free, open source and used a *lot* on the web. Oracle is proprietary, expensive but used a *lot* by business. There are others, of course. Database programming is really important to a lot of people.

Just a thought.

Just Color Picker by Anny Studio (I find this app invaluable)

Thank you for this recommendation! I've been looking for a decent color picker for quite awhile and this one works just the way I'd want it to.

AMP is great. I use it all the time, too.
