I hate snakes — rattlers are at the top of the list.

At least rattlers will usually let you know they are there. My neighbor had a timber rattler in her garden in August. It rattled and let her know.

We also have copperheads. I really hate those guys. You can't see them, usually. They look like leaves. You usually don't know they are there until they strike at you......
