Thanks, Polly. I don't know if I've heard Shirley Bassey sing anything before - this sounds like it's from The Big Band Era maybe? - but she sure has a powerful voice, doesn't she? It seems like I've heard Harry Belefonte or someone like that sing the song before, but can't remember who, where, or when! Certain graphics just send me searching for a song though! :)
Thank you, Billie.
Do I dare say that I was pleased with that graphic. The bird is so pretty and the colors just fell into place.
I need to run to school to help with the receipts from Friday night. I think we had a good fundraiser and all the kids had fun. You could say that it was a successful carnival.
I sure appreciate that, Billie. I used to love doing them but I would do them so early, no one got to see them...LOL! As the morning goes by, an early post gets on the last page. I don’t think many check their pings!!
I may start doing it again soon. I bet I have a million...LOL!
Yes, JC sure DOES spoil us, Billie, with her great (ahem) framed graphics, poetry, scripture and words of wisdom!
And, I agree, JC...... I don’t think many check their pings, and I have found out, that by scrolling through the whole daily thread, I have come accross some treasures - that just made my day!!!
What a tender feeling that picture emits, JC!! Thank you!
You are most welcome!!
Thanks yorkie. I was thinking how well dogs like to go for walks, they really don’t care...rain, sleet, hail or snow.
Isn’t that right, Billie??
Thanks, Luvbo. :)
Oh, this little furry sleepy kitten is such a little beauty!
It’s a neat song, isn’t it? :) I bet Judy Garland’s version is beautiful, and also much softer than Shirley Bassey’s.
Oh, what a neat graphic for Mayor!
Thank you, yorkie - your foggy graphic could have also been used with the song. :)
Thank you, Meg!
Thanks, jaycee. Happy you enjoyed the opening. Music to unload the dishwasher by. That's a new one. :)
(My) dogs love walking on a foggy day - or a sunny day, windy day, cool day, cold day, warm day, hot day......rainy day or snowy day, not so much. :)
For all those wonderful, sweet words you just posted....you are so welcome! :) Your bouquet is a framed piece of art, too. :)
I looked around and couldn’t find anyone who wanted to dance, my dear...LOL! I had clean dishes in the dishwasher and dirty ones waiting to go in....I was a desperate housewife!!
